About the Job

We’re hiring a Software Developer to create AI-powered tools, with a main focus on visual analytics and the chance to work in other AI areas as needed.

• Researching AI models and trends
• Training and developing custom AI models
• Building user-friendly web interfaces for the models
• Solving other project-related challenges as needed
• Work closely with the team, guide discussions, and lead projects
• Take ownership of projects from idea to final deployment

Requirements

You would need min Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Other requirements are as follow:

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in developing AI applications from concept to production.
• Solid understanding of AI algorithms and statistical methods, with the ability to implement models based on academic papers.
• Proficient in Python, with experience in Machine Learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Flax), web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Sanic), traditional databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQLite), and vector databases (e.g., Milvus, FAISS).

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain the existing codebase: Perform code reviews, identify and fix security vulnerabilities, optimize code, and rectify system design issues.

- Leverage machine learning: Identify trends using machine learning and gain business insights. Utilize pre-trained LLMs and other AI models to improve existing programs.

• Serve as the Test Manager, comprehensively understanding business requirements for the Core Banking System, Fund Transfer, and other related banking systems, ensuring all testing in alignment with the requirements
• Responsible for conducting IT software testing
• Collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient teamwork throughout the testing process.
• Key stakeholders include: End users, system development teams, and back-office departments from the head office Test support teams from other IT vendors and Offshore vendors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting IT project test phases within the banking sector.
• Experience in IT software testing, with prior experience as an IT professional in a banking or financial institution will be advantageous.
• Lead the creation of test plans and test definitions for banking IT systems, demonstrating knowledge in software quality management including software testing methodologies, including the creation of test plans, test documentation, execution of test cases, and analysis of test results.
• Experience in managing risk and control processes, including timely escalation and resolution of significant issues to management.
• Proven experience in collaboration, teamwork, and strong leadership in managing stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated project engagement skills, including the preparation and presentation of regular reports and documentation, effective communication of project status and progress to stakeholders and IT teams, and alignment with business priorities.
