Job Summary
As a Level 2 Network Engineer at Evernet Systems Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in both the development and implementation of networking projects and the provision of advanced technical support. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet our rigorous standards of security, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities
Project Deployment (Primary Role):
â—Ź Participate in daily standup huddle meetings to align on network project objectives and to distribute tasks for the day.
â—Ź Implement and manage specific network configurations or updates critical to the advancement of network infrastructure projects.
â—Ź Maintain meticulous records of daily activities, configurations, and any alterations made to network systems.
â—Ź Monitor network project milestones and technical deliverables, ensuring they are in sync with the established project timeline and adhere to network architectural standards.
â—Ź Engage with the network engineering team in problem-solving discussions to overcome project hurdles and innovate solutions.
â—Ź Liaise with technical leadership to assess the network project's alignment with the broader strategic IT goals of the company.
â—Ź Conduct post-implementation reviews of network projects to consolidate knowledge, identify best practices, and document key learnings.
Technical Support (Secondary Role):
â—Ź Act as a critical escalation point for L1 support engineers, providing Level 2 technical expertise for complex network issues.
â—Ź Oversee network system health, promptly responding to and escalating alerts to prevent potential service interruptions.
â—Ź Assess and sequence network-related support tickets, directing resolution workflows by their urgency and impact on operations.
â—Ź Continuously augment the knowledge base with new findings and advanced troubleshooting techniques specific to network systems.
â—Ź Analyse patterns in network support tickets to detect underlying issues and to inform the development of targeted training programs.
â—Ź Lead collaborative efforts within the support team to disseminate technical knowledge and foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
â—Ź Perform detailed evaluations of closed support cases to suggest improvements to network support processes and protocols.
â—Ź Organize and deliver refresher training sessions focused on network support procedures and enhancing customer service skills.
Which Technical Skills and Qualifications You Should Have:
â—Ź Demonstrated expertise in the support, diagnosis, and resolution of complex issues within network and security system environments.
â—Ź Advanced proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network solutions, specifically with Cisco, Cisco Meraki, and Ruijie switches and routers.
â—Ź Extensive experience in managing and fine-tuning wireless networks, particularly with technologies from Cisco Meraki, Aruba, and Ruijie, ensuring optimal performance and security.
â—Ź In-depth knowledge and practical experience in configuring and troubleshooting firewall systems, including WatchGuard, Sophos, and FortiGate, to protect network integrity.
â—Ź Solid foundation in administering and troubleshooting Windows Server environments, ensuring reliable and secure operations.
â—Ź Familiarity with cloud services, including Azure, and Office 365, with a proven track record of supporting cloud-based infrastructure.
● More than 3 year’s working experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) and System Integrator (SI) settings, with a strong emphasis on customer-oriented service delivery.
â—Ź Professional certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are highly regarded and will be considered a distinct advantage.
â—Ź A Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred

Who You'll Collaborate With?
In this dynamic role, you'll be an integral part of our project execution team, working closely with our client to implement robust networking solutions tailored to our clients' needs. While your focus will be on project delivery, you will also provide critical L2 Network Support, ensuring the stability and efficiency of our clients' network infrastructure.
Collaboration is key, and you'll partner with our Sales Manager to ensure technical requirements are clearly understood and met. You'll also have the chance to assist in Pre-sales activities, offering your technical expertise to help craft potential network solutions.
