MASS TRANSFER – PROCESS Engineer

Location: Sembawang
Working Days: 5 Day A Week
Working hours : 9:00am - 6:00pm
Salary : Minimum $4000 - depends on experience

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop modules for Silicon Die Mass Transfer (Similar to microLED Mass Transfer).
• Familiarity with Elastomeric Micro Transfer printing of microLED .
• Responsible for 3D & 2D drawings, tolerance analysis, BOM preparation.
• Planning, Scheduling and Costing of Machines and Mechanical Modules
• Working closely with Electrical, Vision and Software Engineers.
• Work extended hours in critical phases of project execution.
• Travel for Machine Installations and Buy Off

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of design experiences in LED machines. Especially Chip Attach and Mass Transfer.
• Knowledge of high-speed Valves and High-Speed Electronics is a definite plus
• Proficiency with Creo is a definite advantage.
• Experience with vision application, thermal modelling, calculation and measurement techniques would be an advantage.

• Perform installation or maintaining of the robot parts (such as exchanging motor drive, battery, etc.) based on installation / assembly instructions.
• Ensure that firmware and hardware drivers are up to date.
• Perform sensor calibration and configure sensor settings.
• Perform data collection and new sensor evaluations and testing.
• Setup and configure networking infrastructure/devices for communications in the test site and the robot.
• Setting up the robot with the respective software and configurations needed to perform the operation / test.
• Setting up the fleet management applications and communications parameters needed on both the server and on the robots.
• Perform initial investigation on the issues on the robot and narrow down to the potential component.
• Fix issues related to incorrect configurations or settings (Software / Hardware) on the robots.

Qualifications and Technical Skills

• Studying for a diploma/degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Science, or any Robotics related discipline.
• Any of the below knowledges or experiences are highly recommended: Basic experience with Ubuntu (Linux) OS Basic networking knowledge (router, CAN, LAN connections, Wifi setup) and wiring connections setup
• Experience working with robotics or related hardware systems that include cameras, sensors etc.
• Basic knowledge on file systems and Experience with PLC Programming
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision.

Job description;-

· Commissioning, Maintenance, Repair & Troubleshooting of marine electrical & mechanical equipment onboard vessels and in company premisses/workshop (i.e. Burners, Boilers, Scrubbers, EGE, EBG, GCU and supporting systems).

· Ability and willingness to travel on short notice onboard vessels in region, but occasionally also globally.

· Employees must have ready valid travel documentation, passports, visas, seaman book and vaccinations as required to travel.

· This is full time position, and we welcome experienced candidates of all ages.

· Ensure that the work is executed according to the company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environment guidelines and customer site procedures and report unsafe practices and incidents.

· Write Service Certificates (time sheets) on site and get them signed by customer.

· Write Service Reports with full details of job done, warn customer on possible safety issues, spare parts required/suggested and giving suggestions & recommendation of future services.

· Proactive recommendation of required/suggested spare parts to Customers.

· Communicate sales opportunities to Service Managers.

· Provide on site and remote technical support to clients.

Required skills:

· Preferred experience with Boiler & Burners systems, Scrubbers, but it is not mandatory.

· Troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic & mechanical systems.

· Basic programming skills of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).

· Basic parametrisation knowledge of industrial & marine controllers.

· Experience in automation, control and instrumentation devices, pumps, electrical motors, frequency converters, actuators, positioners, …
