About the Role

As VP of Risk Operations, you head up Aspire’s Risk Operations department. You report to the COO and are part of Aspire’s leadership team.

What will you be doing?

• Build and lead the risk operations teams, currently composed of 5 teams and ~15 people
• Lead the operations linked to the scope described above
  • Manage the software we use to manage risk: fraud management software, reconciliation software, and continuously look for new technologies to improve our capabilities and automate our operations
  • Design and maintain the policies, processes, programs.. associated to risk operations
  • Investigate, document, and escalate any incidents, as well as suggest and align on remediative and preventive measures
  • Monitor and test the effectivity and resilience of rules, processes, policies, programs, and continuously improve them
  • Report on relevant metrics: Fraud rates, Reconciliation rates, SLAs, volumes, incidents, automation rates, cost, etc.
• Create, align, own the strategy to manage risks on daily basis across the company, in a scalable and cost-effective manner, including strategies to improve accuracy and hit ~100% automation levels
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders - internal stakeholders like Finance, Product, or Compliance, and external stakeholders like partners or regulators - to rally everyone around creating strong and effective practices across the company, align on the strategy as well as short & long term action plans, resolve incidents and identify and fill gaps, as well as all of the above

• Provide support for student issues as first contact point.
• Provide pastoral care and counselling to all students.
• Enforce School policies and oversee the implementation of quality student processes including student orientation, class scheduling, attendance management, student payment, course survey, student progress and assessment, student discipline, and parent liaison.
• Work with colleagues across the institute to enforce the implementation of institution and departmental policies and compliance with relevant regulatory authorities
• Participate in organising activities for students
• Prepares official documents for new enrolments
• Liaises with staff and students on the completion of student documents and ICA formalities (for international students)
• Bring students to ICA for completion of formalities and collection of student pass
• Any other duties and Ad-hoc projects as assigned by management

As the Director of Operations for APAC, you will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain management, and customer service.

You will also -

• Lead the retail distribution strategy for Sunnystep in Singapore and across APAC region
• Manage retail store expansion plan that include but not limited to site selection, CAPEX analysis, budgeting, lease negotiation with major mall operators and high street landlord
• Take charge of in-store operations in all retail channels, that include but not limited to staffing, sales training, inventory and warehouse management, restocking, renovation and visual merchandising, logistics and sourcing, customer service, order fulfilment
• Build a high performance retail operations team that drive high sales and high NPS score
• Assist in the hiring and training front-line sales staff so that we can provide the best service standard in the industry while helping sales staff achieve their highest potential and keeping the staff satisfaction level high
• Work closely with marketing team to plan and manage in-store marketing events based on yearly campaign calendar
• Source and lead new retail business partnerships to expand our sales channels and increase our brand awareness

You MUST be or have –

• Passionate about Sunnystep products and mission, and passionate about consumer products that impact people’s lives
• At least 5 years of hands on experience developing and implementing strategic plans for large scale retail operations in a regional capacity
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
• A solid experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail

The Director of Business Development is responsible for developing and implementing marketing

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams to develop and execute comprehensive, research-based strategic planning that directs marketing efforts to enhance portfolio of business by actively participating in the project procurement process, and generating new business opportunities across Southeast Asia and Africa.

About The Job

As a Student Recruitment (SRC) Executive, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team in our journey to support the University’s student recruitment strategies and operational plans for marketing, outreach, and promotional events by providing programme counselling advice to prospective applicants, and organising and executing appropriate student recruitment and outreach activities.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

- Programme Counselling and Customer Service

• Support the university’s promotional efforts and activities by providing appropriate counselling, guidance and encouragement to the general public who are interested in our university’s programmes.
• Attend to all course enquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins, and manage and monitor those received by the team.
• Offer programme advisory to prospective students to help them make informed decisions about their educational path.
• Assist prospective applicants in their application submission process.
• Maintain and meticulously track applicants and leads in our database, capturing details from diverse sources including phone, email, walk-ins, and recruitment activities.
• Be committed to maintaining a high standard of service by ensuring swift follow-up on enquiries and feedback from both prospective and signed-up applicants.

- Student Recruitment and Outreach

• Collaborate closely with the SRC Manager to craft and execute innovative marketing strategies for our university's programmes, both locally and abroad.
• Participate in the planning and execution of a range of engaging local and overseas events (e.g., open houses, education fairs, information sessions, seminars, talks etc.), ensuring their seamless delivery.
• Liaise with external stakeholders such as Institutes of Higher Learning and corporate organisations to organise impactful local outreach activities.
• Work with our university's overseas representatives and contacts to organise and participate in international student recruitment and outreach events.

- Website Content Management

• Assist the SRC Manager with the copywriting/copy editing and updating of information on the website, ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Schools, Admissions department) to ensure that student recruitment information on the website is kept updated and current.
• Check and ensure accurate and up-to-date student recruitment-related information on the website.
• Post student recruitment events/activities on the website.

General Responsibilities:

• Participate in University-wide activities as specified in the respective action plans and/or duty rosters (E.g., exam invigilation, orientation, convocation, etc.).
• Coordinate department events/processes, schools, etc.
• Assist with other tasks, duties as necessary or assigned (e.g., coordinate department meetings, minute-taking, etc.).

Job Requirements:

Academic Qualifications

• Degree Holder or GCE ‘A’ Level or Polytechnic Diploma with at least 2 years of working experience, preferably in customer service/administration.

Personal Attributes

• A good team player with good interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills.
