We are looking to recruit committed individuals who have to serve together as a team to mentor children aged 7 – 12 by providing quality after-school care support in a homely environment.

You will play an active role in identifying the needs of the children and to support their learning and holistic development through the following:

• Supervising and guiding the children with their homework

• Planning and delivering programmes, such as character development programmes

• Organising enrichment workshops that can help promote the overall development of the children

• Curate creative activities to develop skills and expand mindsets in the areas of innovation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Engage children in outdoor play that serves to build psychomotor skills

As a significant adult figure to the children, you will be engaging with parents and caregivers as well as leveraging on resources in the community, for the well-being of the children.

Other Requirements

• At least A-level or a Diploma in relevant discipline

• Preferably, WSQ Student Care certification

Requirements:

• A University and/or postgraduate degree in strategy, strategic management, economics, business, finance or other disciplines relevant to corporate planning.
• At least 10 years in a mid-management role in strategy; management consultancy; corporate advisory; or planning in a high-impact dynamic organization.
• Familiar with strategic visioning and planning projects and driving organisational improvements.
• Keen interest in current affairs, in tune with prevailing political, economic, and social trends.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to navigate ambiguity, think out of the box, challenge herd thinking, conceptualise and create practical and workable solutions.

The job holder is responsible for the development of programmes to build employer/HR capabilities to adopt and implement fair and progressive employment practices. This involves:

5. Building strategic partnerships by proactively identifying key stakeholders, opportunities, and design solutions that will enhance collaboration with partners;
6. Creating strategic eco-system (e.g. with training partners, think tanks, HR community) to sustain and capability development of employers;
7. Upholding the credibility and authority of TAFEP as a resource and recourse centre by ensuring all education programmes are effective and delivered in excellence;
8. Developing internal capability of team to be agile, adaptable, motivated and professional

The job holder will lead and manage a team of 15 to 20 staff, and report to the General Manager of TAFEP.

Job Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification
• Minimum 10 years’ experience and subject matter expert on a wide spectrum of HR and employment practices at strategic level
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing large teams
• Strong strategic and critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent collaboration and engagement skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Good team player with strong interpersonal skills

Job Responsibilities:

The job holder is responsible for carrying out TADM’s role of providing fair and expeditious resolution of salary and contractual employment claims between migrant workers and their employers through a holistic case management approach. This involves:

(i) Overseeing TADM Service Centre at the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Service Centre (TADM@MOMSC), ensuring seamless end-to-end case management operations, from claims lodgement, mediation to payment monitoring;

(ii) Formulating and reviewing all operations concepts and work procedures at TADM@MOMSC to ensure that they are up-to-date and relevant;

(iii) Developing strategies and measures to help migrant workers and their employers resolve salary disputes upstream without claims lodgement and avoid future disputes;

(iv) Facilitating MOM services for migrant workers where required, such as special pass issuance;

(v) Aligning operations of TADM@MOMSC with policy directions and strategic outcomes;

(vi) Establishing partnerships and collaborations on case management with internal and external stakeholders and partners, and representing TADM on migrant workers matters;

(vii) Building a strong organisational culture of business and service excellence at TADM@MOMSC; and

Job Purpose

The transaction banking working capital management role originates, structures, and manages (complex) working capital financing solutions (receivables and payables based) typically on a limited or non-recourse basis. These include Receivables Finance and Supplier Finance solutions. The role will establish the right balance of payments, receivables, inventory, cash & liquidity value proposition for corporate & commercial clients. The role will deal with the trapped cash, undermining the value of balance sheet and hampering the growth opportunities. The role will bring a consultative and data driven approach to find the optimal working capital solution across payments, receivables, and supply chain finance that can optimize the value of the balance sheet.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide end to end structuring, solutioning and commercialization of complex working capital solution across cash & trade products.
• Originate new business opportunities through effective networking and collaboration internally and externally.
• Analyze client needs, identify opportunities, and propose receivables or payables solutions with Trade Solution Sales and coverage team.
• Act as Deal Team leader in the negotiation of deal terms, structuring and execution of new transactions.
• Institute a bespoke approach to determine the best possible working capital plan to match client’s business’ needs.
• Facilitate improved forecasting process using the power of data to maximize balance sheet value.

JOB SCOPE

• Create a world-class beverage program for the F&B venues and outlets as directed

• Responsible for meeting the financial Beverage KPIs as budgeted.

• Support the objectives of General Managers/ Restaurant Managers through diligent and proactive management of all beverage services

• Overall management of the beverage team and operations

• Manage the delivery and measurement of high quality guest service within assigned department(s) consistent with the company’s core service standards and brand attributes

• Spearhead the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes to ensure MBS’s competitive position in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality and gaming environment

• Responsible for coordinating training of team members as needed

• Create and update training documents

• Train TMs on beverage knowledge

• Conduct Beverage inventories as and when required to ensure compliance with all MBS SOPs and policies

• Coordinate inventories and purchasing of beverage products, supplies and equipment as needed

• Ensure that all beverage purchases are compliant with all MBS’ purchasing and sourcing policies. Maintain the integrity of the F&B division and lead by example.

• Provide input on all new projects from the perspective of providing unique and creative beverage programming for our guests

• Make sure that all beverage list are accurate and free of spelling mistakes

• Maintain guest profiles on a daily basis, follow up on any guest related issues and take appropriate actions as necessary

• Develop and practice all aspects of Beverage Service Standards. Ensure team members are held accountable to exercising Standards on a daily basis

• Maintain work areas according to Marina Bay Sands Standards

• Work with team to formulate new promotional ideas that would have a positive impact on the Restaurants (including Casino F&B) guest experience

• Review operating results with the team and identify opportunities to improve performance

• Ensure all procedures are in compliance with accounting standards. Monitor and minimize wastage of consumables and maintain labor productivity ratios

• Assume a “hands-on” role where the situation calls for it. Provide service coverage in outlets when required

• Represent the Food and Beverage division as a senior leader in any required capacity that supports our operational goals and initiatives

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

· Hospitality Degree or similar

· Minimum of WSET level 3

Required Experience

· Minimum five years of managerial experience in a beverage director’s role in a high volume 4-5 star hotel. The candidate should possess a comprehensive and diverse background that suggests well developed abilities in people management and beverage program conceptualization and operation in Asia. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in bars and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Sommelier.

Required Knowledge

· Knowledge of Beverage operations and service. Understanding of latest Beverage concepts

· Administration knowledge of large F&B operations and Quality management

· Good knowledge on basic accounting and calculation of beverage costs

· Own a very large network of influential and high spender guests
