What you’ll do

You'll engage medical/ scientific experts in in-depth medical/ scientific product or disease area discussions, and deliver presentations in a non-promotional scientific context as determined by global/local Medical Affairs plans and in line with the area therapeutic brand strategy. You'll also act as an educational resource to internal stakeholders, providing medical/ scientific knowledge, training, and support to internal stakeholders on AstraZeneca's marketed products and compounds in development.

Essential for the role

• Advanced scientific degree
• Thorough knowledge or experience of the pharmaceutical industry and the Medical Affairs function
• Ability to interact and manage a range of stakeholders both internally and externally
• Knowledge of legislation relevant to pharmaceutical sales and marketing

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and liaise with support partners to resolve administrative and operational matters for the team
• Handle clients' enquiries/ needs and assist in servincing their requirements
• Establish good rapport with clients
• Assist the team in executing investment transactions
• Assist the team in monitoring clients' investments positions
• Handle new account opening, account maintainance, credit application, etc.
• Handle any periodic reviews i.e. credit, KYC and Client Risk Questionnaire
• Highlight suspicious activitities/ behaviour of clients and staff (e.g. account irregularities) to the team and respective departmants responsible for it
• Attend all Compliance and mandatory training required by the local regulators
• Understanding the bank's KYC/AML/CDD framework
• Input of deals into the bank's proprietary system or raise appropriate deal tickets

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline
• At least 5 years of experience working in a similar role/ capacity in the banking industry
• CACS papers 1 & 2 certified
