Job Description

• Responsible for overall regulatory compliance and risk management of the branch.
• Understand and respond to both Japanese and Singapore laws and regulations, including AML and environmental risks.
• Perform gap analysis, scenario analysis, and stress testing for the various risks (interest rate, foreign exchange, environment, liquidity, and credit) that the branch faces in order to analyze and manage risks.
• Perform market valuation, ECL calculation, etc. for financial assets held by the branch.
• Manage outsourcing vendors and system risk management for the branch.

Requirements and attributes

• Minimum Bachelor's degree
• 5 years working experience in a financial institution.
• Working knowledge of the Japanese language and culture is required to communicate effectively with head office.
• Strong knowledge of both Singapore and Japanese laws and regulations.

1. AML/KYC, CDD and clients on-boarding

• Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using Rubber, Solid, Slurry, and Gas Chromatography techniques to ensure adherence to quality specifications
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, including chromatographs, spectrophotometers, balances, and other analytical instruments.
• Record and interpret test results accurately, maintaining detailed and organized documentation of laboratory activities and data.
• Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods or modification of existing methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in troubleshoot instrument or method-related issues, working collaboratively with laboratory staff and technical support to resolve problems.

Job Description & Requirements

• Conducts daily laboratory analysis of raw materials, quality control stability sample testing, in-process testing, finished products and other related testing.
• Prepare test solutions, volumetric solutions, standardization of volumetric solutions and reference standards.
• Able to plan, schedule and assisting in supervising QC testing for finished product, raw materials & stability products.
• Assist to ensure QC testing of products are completed on time, review / approve test report and able to forward the test reports /or samples to QA when required.
