We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantitative Research Analyst to join our investment team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative trading strategies and tools, utilizing advanced statistical techniques to optimize trading approaches. This role is perfect for someone passionate about quantitative analysis and looking to make a significant impact in the fast-paced world of equity trading. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the investment team to develop and implement trading strategies. Apply advanced statistical analysis to optimize these approaches.
• Conduct thorough analysis of large datasets containing historical and real-time equity market data. Identify key opportunities and trends to aid in strategic decision-making.
• Participate in all aspects of the strategy development process, including data analysis, hypothesis testing, back testing, and post-trade analysis.
• Effectively communicate research findings and deliver actionable insights through various formats such as reports and presentations, ensuring that complex data is accessible and understandable.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in quantitative research or trading within equity markets is essential. Familiarity with factor models is HIGHLY advantageous.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, and C++.
• A solid grasp of equity markets and financial statements is preferred, enabling more effective analysis and strategy development.
• A keen interest in investment, strong learning ability, excellent teamwork skills, self-driven, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver projects and solutions

· Provide/review solutions on end-to-end approach to system integration across multiple platforms/applications

· Work closely with product vendors to analyze change request, review system design, ensure compliance to technology architecture standards, software defect resolution and system deployment

· Perform code development and testing, investigate and resolve technical issues reported in projects.

· Conduct system and performance management, application vulnerability management and control, software release management

· Plan and commission production system implementation

Develop and review technical documents and other System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) related documents.

Qualifications:

· Degree in computer science or related discipline

· At least 5 years IT experience on implementing reporting/regulatory solutions on Axiom platform

· Have strong system design and trouble-shooting skill

· Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities

· Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment

· Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

· Assisting with daily operations

· Supporting the Lead of Process Improvement

· Market research and presenting it to stakeholders

· Reviewing of test plans and cases

· Participating in the new system implementation

· Carrying out UAT testing

· Understanding of company’s report requirements and identifying commonality

· Highlighting of key risks and challenges

· Adhoc tasks and projects as assigned

Job Requirements

· Minimum Degree in a related discipline

· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

· Able to start immediately or within short notice
