• Address staff queries on compensation matters, with support from the Performance & Reward team.
• Talent Management, Succession Planning & Employee Development
• Partner with Talent Management Specialists and Allied Health HODs in annual talent identification and succession planning exercises and work together on development posting opportunities for identified talents and potential successors.
• Employee Relations, Engagement & Change Management
• Provide advisory support on staff disciplinary or grievance handling including secretariat support for the investigations.
• Support in providing recommendations of interventions to improve employee engagement.
• Partner HODs to provide advice and guidance in the Master Service Agreement for staff secondment and work out the secondment terms and charges for agreement signing.
• Coordinate meetings and preparation of agenda and minutes of meetings.
• Support Annual Budget Planning exercise& submission of accruals.
• Contribute to OJT learning through the sharing of good practices.
• Any other projects assigned.

Job Description:

• To strategise, organise, govern, and manage a project within a predetermined timeframe that is committed to customer.
• To successfully complete New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by meeting all the specifications and requirements and advancing them towards mass production, including anticipating and mitigating potential risks that may negatively impact the projects.
• To engage and work with customers on product specifications, requirements, costs, schedules, and quality.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering/precision engineering.
• Knowledge with practical experience in the field of plastic injection and injection tool fabrication, or mechanical product design is needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership to lead, guide and inspire the project team to produce quality work and stay committed to all deliverables.
• Business oriented, meticulous, and cost sensitive.
• Ability to analyse, solve problems and decision making.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Be part of the development core for one of the 6 pillars in the Digital Transformation Development team
• Produce initial development ideas, perform PoC and deploy the product in GCP under Agile framework
• Maintain and propose new ideas to enhance team practice in product development, including GitHub/Jira/Confluence usage
• Assist in creating data mart from data warehouse in GCP environment whenever necessary
• Set up ETL job and maintain data accuracy with good knowledge of data structure/data latency whenever necessary
• Nurture and provide guidance to junior staff members in the team, building up a solid support force for data science-related product development
• Keep track of latest development of projects and provide timely reporting to the management and comprehensive review/planning on a regular basis
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor or above in Data Science, Analytics,Mathematics
• Minimum 4 years' experience in SaaS product development preferred; shipping knowledge would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis to a non-technical audience
• Proficiency in Python/SQL, as well as Cloud platforms (GCP preferred)/ Google Suite (Apps Script is a plus)/ GitHub/Jira/Scrum framework
• Good knowledge of data engineering that covers data governance, database architectures and data pipelines
• Good knowledge of mathematics/statistics/computer science/machine learning
• Strong problem solving and risk analysis skills to analyse internal system data, as well as the forecast system background data
• Ability to review complex information, perform comparative analysis, and make recommendations based on findings
• Ability to perform BI analytics to present insightful messages with follow-up actions
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
• Experience in MLDevOps on Cloud is a plus
