General Summary

Currently, we have a great opportunity available for an Chemical Operator, ETP to join our Production Team/Group/Dept. This position will be located in our Singapore branch and will report directly to the Production Engineer. The ETP operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating all equipment necessary to manufacture atmospheric emulsions, reactor batches, pilot batches, and cold-blend products. This position is also responsible for performing quality control testing, packaging product for shipment to customers.

Primary Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Class 5 Lorry Crane Driver & Operator to join our team in the construction maintenance process industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of lorry-mounted cranes, ensuring the efficient transportation and lifting of materials on various job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate lorry-mounted cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and place materials as required.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on the crane and lorry.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members to understand lifting requirements and site conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of work activities, including load weights, travel logs, and maintenance performed.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials from the lorry as necessary.
• Provide support in other maintenance tasks when not operating the crane.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to best practices in crane operation.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Certification in crane operation (e.g., CPCS, NCCCO) preferred.
• Proven experience operating lorry-mounted cranes in construction or maintenance settings.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and site plans.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Job Description:

• Operate degreasing equipment, such as immersion tanks, spray washers, or ultrasonic cleaners, to remove oils, grease, and contaminants from metal parts or components.
• Load parts into the degreasing equipment, ensuring proper placement and arrangement for thorough cleaning.
• Prepare degreasing solutions according to established procedures, measuring and mixing chemicals as required.
• Monitor equipment operation during the degreasing process, adjusting settings and parameters as needed to optimize cleaning efficiency and quality.
• Conduct visual inspections of degreased parts to ensure cleanliness and compliance with quality standards.
• Remove cleaned parts from the degreasing equipment, inspect for residual contaminants, and transfer to drying or further processing areas.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on degreasing equipment, such as cleaning, replenishing fluids, and replacing filters or parts as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling chemicals safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the degreasing area, including cleaning tanks, disposing of waste properly, and storing chemicals and supplies.
• Communicate any issues or concerns with equipment operation, quality, or safety to the supervisor or designated personnel.
