Position Summary:

As Supply Chain Optimization Engineer you lead improvement projects defined in the supply chain roadmap. Further, you assist in the development of a process oriented organization. 6 DAYS WORK WEEK

• Assist logistics process for shipment and delivery, and returns on products.
• Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.
• Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
• Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.
• Understanding of principles of accounting and finance.
• Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds in order to identify problems and find solutions.
• Train and mentor employees, including reinforcement of safety guidelines.
• Report accidents and injuries and ensure proper treatment protocols are met.
• Create supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed.
• Collaborate with other departments to close operational gaps.
• Balance safety, cost management and business growth then prepare and submit reports.
• Optimize warehouse functions.
• Handle communications and negotiations with suppliers.

Job Responsibilities

1. Be able to skilfully operate production machinery and equipment, and participate in the disassembly and cleaning of machinery and equipment

2. Complete the arrangement of daily production operations and production tasks according to the production process.

3. Responsible for the unloading of raw materials and the handling of finished products.

4. 5S sorting and rectification of production workshops and warehouses and their respective areas.

5. Packaging and packaging of finished products.

6. Maintenance of machinery and equipment used in production, cleaning and sanitation work.

7. Other related work.

Requirements

· Preferably someone with at least 1 years of working experience.

. Follow the leader's work arrangement, such as overtime，Rotate night shifts production, unloading and loading, etc.

· Good team management skills.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving & decision-making skills.

· Must be hardworking and responsible.

. Able to start immediately or on short notice.

. Forklift license is preferred.

Job Description:

• Familiarize with comprehensive supply chain strategies, including procurement management, logistics management, inventory management, etc., to ensure the efficient operation of the supply chain.
• Responsible for communicating, negotiating, and signing procurement contracts with suppliers, supervising and managing the execution of purchase orders, ensuring timely supply of materials, and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Manage container scheduling, overseas shipments, optimize logistics networks, reduce logistics costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods to destinations.
• Communicate and cooperate with downstream departments, supervise inventory levels, ensure inventory levels meet demand, avoid excessive or insufficient inventory, and minimize inventory costs.
• Coordinate work between internal departments according to the supply chain plan, ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain, and promptly resolve issues and anomalies in the supply chain.
• Collect, analyze, and organize supply chain-related data, provide decision support and business reports, optimize supply chain processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Evaluate and select suitable suppliers, establish and maintain supplier relationships, track supplier performance, and promote continuous improvement of suppliers.
• Supervise and manage product quality in the supply chain, ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements, and promptly address quality issues and complaints.
• Identify and assess risks in the supply chain, develop response strategies and contingency plans, and mitigate the impact of risks on the supply chain.
• Support the team with other responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistic or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in related field
• Well-organized, meticulous, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong in execution
• Organized, good coordination & follow-up skills
• Competent in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English & Chinese (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare gas production figures and charts for analysis and archive.
• Keep track of utilities consumption in Senoko Gasworks.
• Responsible for the proper and efficient operation of gas making plants and its ancillaries.
• Attend to faults and breakdowns on gas making plants and their ancillaries.
• Attend to matters relating to production, quality control, storage and distribution of town gas from the gasworks.
• Initiate and liaise with maintenance supervisor or contractors to conduct repair or servicing work for the plants and ancillaries.
• Ensure there is proper observance of all safety regulations and that all works done by personnel under his charge comply with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, the Company’s safety and operation manuals and other relevant local regulations.

Pre-requisites:

• Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical/ Electrical Engineering .
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in an oil & gas industry or in a petrochemical plant environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Possess good interpersonal and communications skills.
