ALG is currently recruiting Operators. This position is an entry-level, long-term contract role with an option to convert to permanent after 6 months.

Job Responsibilities:

Operators can be assigned to one of the three areas at any one point in time:

Repair Area:

• To put up parts to create space for incoming parts
• To use push and pull theory for parts as to meet Component
• Repair TRT
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Component/Machines:

• Set-up machines and ensure that it is in working order
• Monitor machine during every procedure and ensure optimum operation
• Ensure that regular and preventive maintenance are carried out
• Maintain and clean machines before and at the end of each shift
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Warehousing operations:

• Receive incoming and consolidate for outgoing components
• Sort paperwork for work pack closure and administration paperwork
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year working experience, preferably in an aerospace environment
• Able to read and communicate in simple English
• Able to work on rotating shifts
• Able to operate electric and non-electric pallet jack is a plus

2. May be required to hand carry up to 25 kg

3. Follow delivery schedule & route to complete daily delivery assignments in time.

4. Collect payment (cash or cheque) and hand over to the office at the end of the day. Be responsible to make up any shortfall if there's any discrepancies on cash collection.

Requirements:

2. OT may be required with short notice to cover other colleagues’ MC or leaves

3. Must complete daily assignment on time

4. Possess valid Class 3 driving licence (manual)

5. Nice attitude and good interpersonal skills

6. Vehicle must be returned to the company parking location and not allowed to be driven back home

7. To attend industrial training as and when required

Responsibilities:

• Managing the entire fulfilment cycle from order release (i.e credit block release, validating customer PO pricing) to physical delivery (i.e document filing)
• Ensure warehouse performs order entries in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure Transporters delivers the goods on time based on the agreed delivery schedule
• Manage delivery operation escalations with CSPL appointed partners and channel sales managers
• Returns Management – Completion of PRA documentation for Credit notes release
• Invoicing (Retailer Invoice upload, Empties invoicing & E-com billing)
• Documentation – ensure all completed deliveries are filed and recoverable for audits
• ACK (misc. orders) – ensuring ACK forms are filled correctly before passing it to the warehouse for order processing
• Any other supply chain related activities requiring support

Requirements:

• GCE 'O' Level / Diploma
• 2 – 3 years of relevant working experience in Supply Chain function
• Ideal candidate looks for stability and commits long term in the position
• Knowledge in SAP System
• Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Job Description & Requirements

The Operator must be able to solder under microscope and also on hotplate for long hours.

The workplace is a cleanroom environment, and the Operator is expected to wear anti-static smock clean room suit, mask and gloves.

The working hours are as follows:

Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am to 6.00pm

Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Meal Breaks: 1 hour

Education level: N level and understand English.
