Yamal Trade Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Yamal LNG Joint Venture, is a company incorporated in Singapore which business is linked to Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) produced in Yamal Peninsula (Russia).

Yamal Trade (YT) is looking for a Shipping Commercial Analyst to join its Shipping Team. Yamal Trade is holding long term Time Charters to service its pioneering Arctic LNG project. The LNG Chartered fleet is composed of 26 LNG vessels. The position is based in Singapore.

This is a great opportunity to be part of the dynamic shipping team in our Singapore office, where the core commercial activities happen. The candidate is expected to gain commercial acumen quickly to be an active contributor of the business.

The appointee will be involved in LNG Cargo complete logistics: loading, maritime transport, potential rescheduling/reloading at transshipment point, discharge and reconciliation with Buyer.

This role will interact primarily with the Shipping team located in Moscow and Singapore. The context is one of efficient and reliable business process relative to the LNG cargo documentation from Yamal LNG plant at Sabetta, Russian Federation to the end Buyers Worldwide.

Role Objectives

To provide analytical expertise to our Shipping and other commercial teams in Yamal Trade.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and run Economic modelling related to shipping scenarios;
2. Analytical support to all chartering/shipping activities of Yamal Trade;
3. Voyage economics modelling in cooperation with ADP and Commercial teams;
4. Assist the Shipping team in selecting vessels and drafting and negotiating charters (spot and term) to support Yamal Trade’s shipping demand;
5. Develop and maintain working relationship with key external stakeholders - owners and shipbrokers regarding vessel types performance and economics;
6. Co-operation with other teams within Yamal Trade and Yamal LNG (ADP, Commercial and Finance teams)
7. Other responsibilities as directed by management.

• Office-based experience in Chartering, Shipping Operations or Research with an oil major, a trading house, independent shipowner or shipbroker;

You will help implementing web analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics. You will use Tag Management Systems like Adobe Launch, GTM and Tealium IQ, and design data layers. You will also get exposure to the cutting edge of data-driven digital marketing technology, including CDPs and CEPs. You will potentially set up and operate marketing automation and personalisation tools.

This is a technical role. It would suit someone with a desire to learn how to implement top-end martech and digital data platforms.

The role will be based in Singapore but may require travel to client sites across APAC.

This role would suit someone with experience of working in a digital team client-side or agency-side and who has successfully used web analytics tools to measure/optimise online acquisition and conversion.

Typical daily activity

In a typical day, you could be:

· Assisting in running workshops to gather and document technical requirements

· Supporting the platform selection process to help identify suitable tools and technologies for specific parts of the architecture

· Aiding in creating business solution designs for analytics implementations on websites and mobile apps

· Implementing these analytics solutions, typically platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Webtrends, Google Analytics, through:

o Writing tagging guides

o Delivering tags through a Tag Management System

o Designing and delivering data layers

o Setting up profiles and custom reports

· Conducting audits of client sites to assess tagging accuracy and performing gap analyses

· Reviewing other data sources, including media, CRM, or offline data, to evaluate their integration with web analytics

· Supporting the design, build, and automation of data engineering solutions using cloud technologies like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

· Collaborating with the Data Strategy team to implement front-end code for optimization and personalization experiences, and assisting in testing these solutions using tools such as Optimizely, AB Tasty, Adobe Target, and Visual Website Optimizer

· Design and building Dashboards on PowerBI/Tableau or other visualization tools.

· Assisting in training and mentoring clients on effectively using their technical architecture and platforms

In addition, you will be involved in connecting other data sources with web analytics so you will have a good working knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (CDPS), DMPs, media tag (e.g. DoubleClick), CRM data, email marketing data, video data and social media analytics.

This role will not require you to analyse the data – that is the job of our Data Strategy team – but you will be interested in the commercial impact of your data, either from analysis or from marketing automation.

This is a client-facing, billable role where you will support the Solutions Consultant in managing multiple clients. This includes assisting with client meetings and conference calls, ensuring clear and logical communication of technical information.

Collaborate with the Solutions Consultant to interpret business requirements and design effective digital data architectures that align with clients’ needs across various tools and technologies.

Work within project teams to help implement digital analytics solutions on client platforms, ensuring all technical requirements are met.

Respond to client support requests promptly, often handling critical issues as a trusted final resource

· Project management

Working with the Project Manager to ensure Mezzo delivers on time and on budget. Managing clients' expectations, change requests and scope creep. Checking all deliverables before they go to the client. Ensuring the client is kept regularly updated on progress. Getting sign off of each deliverable. Raising invoices at the end of each phase

· Feedback

Getting feedback from each client and compiling a close out report with recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

You will need to have:

Technical / Analytics Expertise

· At least 5 years’ technical experience implementing analytics tools and technologies (note: this is essential – you must have experience of writing documents like tagging guides or Solution Design Documents, not just briefing them in for someone else to write.)

· Experience in at least one tag management system (e.g. GTM, DTM/Launch or Tealium iQ)

· Experience in designing and implementing data layers to support analytics requirements

· Familiarity with advanced analytics technologies, such as CDPs, DMPs, and Marketing Clouds, and the ability to integrate these with other data sources

· Knowledge of JavaScript at an intermediate level

Data Analysis and Visualisation Expertise

· Strong proficiency in building dashboards on data visualization platforms (PowerBI/Tableau), with the ability to create visually impactful, data-driven insights

· Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data across various databases

· A good understanding of technology, with a desire to learn more and try new tools

Analytics and Integration Experience

· Understanding of data engineering approaches, tools and technologies

· Practical experience with cloud platforms, including Azure (Logic apps, Event Hub, Data Factory etc.) and AWS(Glue, S3, redshift etc.) for data engineering and analytics.

· Proficient in Python at an intermediate level for data processing, automation, and integration tasks

Preferably, you should have:

Advanced Cloud and Data Engineering Skills

· Hands-on experience with data engineering technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc)

· Foundational knowledge of data science methods for advanced analytics

Front-end Optimisation and Personalisation
