Job Description

• Review and validate the quality of the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) information on the bank's customers, in line with policies, at onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Keep abreast with regulatory changes, assist the Compliance Manager in managing and monitoring new regulatory changes as well as updating SOPs to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Provide advice to relevant business and support functions, on compliance, KYC/CDD issues.
• Assist with CRS validation and reporting.
• Carry out periodic testing of relevant policies and procedures, to ensure that they are being correctly carried out.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Gather, collate, and analyse requirements from business users and provide clear functional specifications for enhancements to ALM Risk Systems.

• Perform impact analysis of enhancement requests on existing processes.

• Design solutions that are sound, adequate, and forward-looking to address ALM business requirements.

• Plan, schedule and execute to deliverable objectives from initiation till successful implementation within agreed timelines.

• Devise comprehensive test plans (including test scenarios and test cases) to test IT deliverables.

• Perform User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, Simulation Testing and Live verification to ensure system deliveries meet requirements objectives.

• Formulate a Roadmap for ALM Risk Systems that continually address existing and potential business needs.

• Provide functional support to business users and co-manage ALM Risk System production issues with technology partners.

Requirements

• Degree in Banking, Financial Engineering, Computer Science or any other related quantitative discipline with about 1 to 5 years’ relevant experience in business analysis area

• Understanding and experience in the area of ALM Risk, including Liquidity Risk and Interest Rate Risk, specifically LCR, NSFR, MCO, IRRBB is preferred.

• Prior experience in implementing or managing an ALM Risk System would be an advantage.

• Prior business analysis experience of interfacing between IT Teams and end Users and translating / documenting business requirements into documents that can be used by IT Teams for development of systems solutions.

• Knowledge of machine learning and AI usage would be useful.

• Strong inter-personal, communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in SQL and Excel

Job Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility of the candidate will be to provide L1/L2 technical support for all applications used by wealth management technology including Avaloq, Marginman and many others
• Manage day to day production issues including daily health checks of all applications and processes
• Working closely with various stake holders like business users, development staffs and infrastructure teams. Prioritize, mitigate or resolve issues and/or minimize outages
• Responsible for availability, incident, problem and capacity management for all applications in scope
• Maintain high performance and availability of production environment including ensuing batch monitoring during late shifts
• Monitor critical components of the system and troubleshoot problem areas
• Liaise with users to ensure production incidents are resolved on a timely basis and that remedial actions are taken. Manage and keep track of production issues, follow up incident post mortem to mitigate root cause

Job Requirements

• University graduate in Information Technology
• Minimum 7 years of experience in application support
• Must have experience in banking environment/ financial institution with the understanding in FX/MM/Equity/Derivatives and associated front to back operational workflow
• ITIL v3 or similar qualifications with Java, Oracle, Unix/Linux, Sybase technologies
• Able to work with sense of urgency under multiple deadlines, can organize and deliver with minimal supervision
