The analyst is expected to drive incident resolution upwards of 90% of all issues without the need for any escalation. Ideal candidate must possess demonstrable leadership qualities combined with technical expertise, and client advocacy to be able to drive and direct a best-in-class ITIL focused service to Visa customers. The Associate Analyst will be required to drive Service level expectation against performance to ensure that external and internal clients experience a positive response to inquiries, issues, and events. What we expect of you, day to day.

• Identify ways to improve processes and procedures generates new ideas and options.

• Work with technical teams to identify and implement improvements in tools and monitoring using automation or other technical solutions.

• Work with Management and Operations SMEs to identify potential areas of improvement in processes. Develop and implement those improvements and engage with Operations teams to ensure process improvements are distributed effectively including the provision of education.

• Communicate effectively throughout the incident management process to ensure that all communications are timely and accurate.

• Able to prescribe the fastest and easiest resolution path.

• Track and update all incidents in the incident management system, ensuring that documentation is thorough, accurate and meets ticket quality standards.

• Provide system administration on multiple server platforms, in the resolution of incidents. Liaise with support groups in the resolution of incidents for complex, unfamiliar issues.

• Able to anticipate and resolve additional potential problems with our critical applications support. 

• Maintain technical skills through participation in ongoing training.

• Ability to identify, analyse and isolate anomalies presented via standard alerting utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques.

• Will take the leadership role and will be accountable for the management of highly critical events that may have the potential of major financial and or reputation impacts to Visa, Inc.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

• 5+ years of IT experience with hands-on expertise in data analysis and Oracle SQL /UNIX Scripting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business Insights: Conduct impactful analyses on major revenue, product, vertical, productivity, efficiency, market opportunity data and trends. Lead communication of these insights.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a numerate or business-related subject (Business Management, Finance, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, etc.).
• 8+ years experience in business or sales operations, analytics or planning, preference for working experience across Asia-Pacfic.
• Demonstrated problem solving experience with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets.
• Proven experience in driving end-to-end strategy setting and implementation, including influencing senior stakeholder buy-in.
• Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills, and adept in Microsoft/Google office tools.
• Advanced SQL knowledge, and knowledge of at least one scripting language (R/Python). Knowledge in reproducing or scaling analyses.

Position Purpose:

Reporting to the Group Head of FP&A, the Senior Finance Analyst will partner with the Business Unit Managers and support groups to provide the necessary guidelines, strategies, plans, processes and controls in the region and divisional brand P&Ls.

Responsibilities:

A. Budgeting/Forecasting & Variance Analysis

• Analyze revenue, profitability by brand/customer/channel/market with quality commentary
• Provide analytical support to cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc projects and cashflow forecast
• Systematic variance analysis with quality commentary/business insight to support business objectives

B. Financial Reporting

• Responsible for overall accuracy in P&L reporting during month end closing; including preparation of journals; working closely with Shared Services Team; review with Senior Business Controller
• Prepare monthly management reports & review results with management
• Lead the actualization and analysis of monthly P&L, KPI, present divisional brand P&L and highlights with recommended action plans as required
• Liaising with the local accounting team (SSC environment) to ensure the integrity, accuracy of the accounting records, as well as in compliance with general accounting principles

C. Business Partnering

• Serves as the primary finance business partner and controller to support business operations by partnering with business teams to meet corporate objectives and decision support
• Preparation of Cashflow actuals and projection to Group

D. Compliance

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements including audit, tax, corporate secretarial preparation/enquiries etc.
• Manage and liaison with the external auditor, tax consultants, corporate secretary, banks and other external parties
• Ensure robust process and adequate internal controls are in place

• Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience in Finance and Controlling, preferred to have some regional exposure but not required
• FMCG industry experience highly desired, but not required
• Commercially minded, pragmatic in approach with high attention to detail
• Creative and innovative attitude, always looking for new ways to improve current activities
• Highly organised self-starter with the ability to prioritise
• Multi-tasker able to achieve deadlines
• A team player able to work with multiple teams
• Strong influencing skills - ability to lead and build relationship with stakeholders
