· Troubleshoot problems for customers, provide recommendations for problem resolution: provide estimates to customer for repair, replacement and installation according to problem diagnosis and repair/replacement recommendations.

· Identifies parts that need to be replaced and places orders for parts or repair services as necessary for themselves.

· Assist the mechanical team to complete the mechanical and electrical work scope within the time frame given.

· Perform PMS service and troubleshooting of main engines and A/E control and automation systems.

· Pneumatic Control System

· Main Engine Telegraph System

· Other Automation equipment such as Boiler Controls, Purifiers, Alarm Monitoring System, Main Switch Boards and etc.

· Main engine automation & bridge manoeuvring system.

· Other Marine automation and control system.

· Demonstrates efficient job planning and time scheduling for themselves.

Requirements:

· At least Diploma certificate for electrical automation

· At least 5 years of marine electrical repair related experience

· Willing to Travel overseas

· Strong working electrical knowledge of marine diesel engines and auxiliary equipment - electrical and automation systems; installation, maintenance, repair, replacement

Key responsibilities

1) Defining the pre-requisites and the priorities for the T&C planning.
2) Coordinating the production of the T&C documentation.

12) Prepare documentation for test procedures (method statements)
13) Maintain the site always neat and tidy.
14) Able to understand the regulation and requirement of local electrical practice and SMRT/ LTA requirements.
15) Preparation of red markup drawings according to the site condition and approved modification
16) Able to prepare Test Procedure and relevant technical document.
17) Able to learn and pick up cut-in/cut-out of circuits for new systems or reroute cables / systems that required test and commissioning.

Requirements:
1) Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering
2) Able to read the electrical scheme drawings and make necessary correction when required.
3) Previous experience in Testing & Commissioning of large rail infrastructure projects (desired but not Must)
4) Familiar with working in and around live electrified railway systems.
5) Hands on experience in using Test Equipment like Multi meter, Scopemeter, etc.
