Responsibilities:

As a Field Service Engineer (Technician) in the Company, you are expected to support our Aftersales department. The primary role of this position is to assist the Head of Aftersales to coordinate the management of the company’s technical department comprising of the followings:

· Responsible for all installation, troubleshoot & repair, maintenance, service calls, and delivery of equipment to customers.

· Maintain a journal of all service calls, tools listings and repairs.

· Coordinate with Office Administrator for the issue of invoice for service calls, repair work done and parts replaced.

· To support the Technical and Head of After Sales with the coordination of daily service schedules by ensuring that all job assignments are attended to in a timely and efficient manner.

· To provide fast, efficient and proactive customer service for all our clients, covering service installations, complaints, service and maintenance.

· Coordinating and responding to all requests of internal meetings.

· Assist the Store Coordinator with all stock and spare part stock checks and inventory management.

· Assist when needed, the logistics for delivery of new equipment installations, receiving of goods and local transportation arrangements.

· To assist with the upkeep of the showroom and ensure that all equipment are in good working condition on a daily basis.

· Represent the Company in a professional manner always as an ambassador of the Company.

Purpose of Position

In this role, we look for you to drive the adoption of new innovations at the major HSDC customers. Provide extensive technical sales and engineering support to the HSDC Program and strategic account teams. Build deep local relationships with key customer contacts, design consultants and installers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Implementation

• Drive the innovation adoption process for hyperscale, strategic and global accounts, to create a preference for Corning products early in the design phase. Provide consultative support to secure a Corning specification and incremental revenue for large opportunities.
• Work closely with customers to define their needs and provide innovative solutions that meet their specific requirements.
• Work with Market Development, PLM Application Solutions, and Program Management Office to conduct detailed Customer Insight Research sessions in order to identify customers’ core needs and sales opportunities for Corning. These include observation of installations and processes, interviews, and ad-hoc engagements.

2. Technical Support & Engineering

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned Hyperscale DC sites. Provide technical & engineering support to strategic & global account teams to ensure that all technical requirements are fulfilled.
• Facilitate field trials and define criteria for successful trial. Track and forecast customer timing to start purchasing and deploying new innovations.
• Provide technical support to customers during implementation and deployment phases.

3. Sales & Pre-Sales Support

• Develop customer, installer, consultant, integrator champions for the innovations and build/maintain relationship.
• Provide recommendations for network infrastructure design and new innovations tailored to meet specific customer needs in dealing with complex technical challenges across various data center networking applications.
• Assist with the review of technical specifications and compliance, BOM development for bids and tenders.

4. Market Analysis & Strategy

• Stay up to date on the latest trends and advancements in optical networking, specifically focusing on the roadmap for ethernet, infiniband and DCI technologies.
• Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities to build network infrastructure at scale.
• Contribute to the development of the strategies to expand Corning’s demand position (CDP) in APAC.

5. Collaboration & Training

• Share knowledge by training our internal Global Technical support staff and global sales teams who provide global account management support with global understanding of products being deployed and troubleshooting best practices.
• Leverage thorough, complete and comprehensive understanding of TIA standards and best practices and apply them to technical responses for RFI/RFQ opportunities.
• Engagement of other cross functional resources to assist customer (Engineering Services, Customer Service, Product Line Management, Manufacturing, Technology, Research and Development) through regular use of ingenuity, creativity, and problem solving.

This position is responsible for ensuring that the following communication links take place and are effective:

• From Marketing and Market Development to Global Account Management (Sales). Information regarding new products, standards, design tends, and emerging markets must be effectively communicated to the sales team.
• From Strategic Account Management (Sales) to our customers. This position is tasked with traveling with our sales team and ensuring that the appropriate pre- and post-sale technical messages are delivered to the customer.
• From our customers to our company. Voice of Customer/Customer feedback must be understood and effectively communicated to the appropriate people within Market Development and Product Line Management.

Required Education:

Within GIT and more specifically Capital Market IT, the GMD & MCR Transversal sector has launched the COMET project, aimed at building the new collateral management system:

- Receiving data from position-keeping systems

- Receiving data from the bank's repositories

- Management of collateral contracts

- Collateral management for all types of contracts and products: Calculations and issuance of margin calls and interest (collat & IM)

- Reconciliation management

- Creation and editing of user reports.

This role aims to manage CI/CD chain in order to ensure end-to-end quality of the integration systems. The CI/CD team continuously works with project team users, infrastructure engineers and system managers.

Main Responsibilities

Build & change management

• Participate in the automation of the deployment solution
• Participate in the preparation of the environment for the test phases
• Technical and functional analysis of problems
• Communicate on the progress and availability status of environments
• Assist users (BA, DEV, Acceptance team) on applications/environments
• Coordination between program developers and infrastructure engineers
• Document processes and ensure they are properly followed
• Ensure the application deployment of Integration and Pre-Production environments
• Contribute to the implementation of application monitoring
• Preparation and follow-up of production deliveries Able to lead in terms of technology and conceptualize, propose design and architectural evolution, along with operational model.

Continuous improvement

• Ensure the continuous improvement and maintenance of CI-CD pipelines
• Participate in the development of tools to simplify the day-to-day activities of the program
• Propose continuous improvement solutions on the non-Prod platform.

Qualifications and Profile

Mandatory:

• At least 2 years of experience in software development or DevOps team
• At least 2 years of experience in Java / J2EE development
• At least 3 years of experience with Jenkins, GIT (GitLab)
• At least 2 years of experience in Ansible.

Good to have:

• Experience with Docker / Kurbernetes
• Experience with ActivePivot or SalesForce Board
• Experience in a Big Data environment would be a plus
• Basic understanding of finance and investment banking Experience with Maven, Git, writing and maintaining integration tests
