• Supporting deployment of on-site data centre physical infrastructure.
• Installing, replacing and troubleshooting Cables and Hardware.
• Handling data bearing devices (ex. hard drives, solid-state drives, etc.)
• Working within a ticket-based environment.
• Movement of equipment using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting equipment.
• As required, assisting the Datacentre Inventory and Asset Management Team (DIAT) with shipping/receiving and inventory management to address high work volumes.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in IT / Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in IT Support & Monitoring

Skill sets:

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
• Six (6) months or more handling/maintaining any technical equipment or machinery.
• 1+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
• Applicable certifications: CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).

Requirements

Education / Experience:

Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Site manager
• Execute large Chiller plant Oeprations and maintenace for Pump set
• Ensure operations SOPs are available and always updated
• Upkeep maintenance records
• Investigate and report equipment defect, deficiency and abnormalities
• Issue work order for equipment with abnormalities
• Ensure all Mechanical system and related works carried out by sub-contractor are planned and executed to the requirements
• To be competent in overseeing sub contractor work, coordination with other department and to ensure EHS and Regulatory compliance at the site.
• Provide effective leadership to a team of Technican by efficiently delegating tasks and resources to achieve daily operations requirement
• Identify and arrange for the training and development of the technicians at site.
• Ready to respond to emergencies and instructions provided by direct supervisor
• Schedule the work timetable for the equipment maintenance/overhaul

Job requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant maintenance work experience in industrial plant operations
• Technical knowledge in rotating and static mechanical & electrical equipment maintenance and machinery vibration analysis will be an added advantage.
• Possess good communication, analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
