The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for partnering with our existing customers, as well as prospecting and gaining new customers, in an assigned territory, country or region, providing them with personal customer service and solutions for the production of new materials and related products.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain quality relationships with current corporate accounts while simultaneously growing new customer pipeline to achieve annual sales and operating income targets.
• Effectively coordinate rollouts of products, trials, surveys, new chains, contract negotiation and execution, price adjustments, equipment installation, etc.
• Responsible for training and supervising customer production team to guide them achieving the optimal production outcome.
• Prepare proposal and strategy for the development of new business.
• Effectively manage reporting of new business opportunities and meet or exceed expectations for prospect calls.
• Work with the sales and corporate management of other divisions to optimize Thorb penetration within new business contacts.
• Build and maintain alliances with key distributors.
• Ensure distributor inventory is consistent with forecasted customer needs.
• Effectively communicate with all levels of management, including customer headquarters, distributor channels, and internal Thorb organization.
• Demonstrated thorough knowledge of ALL account SOPs and strong relationships with personnel and key management in the accounts.
• Advise customers on quality assurance & conduct customer site visits to help maintain smooth production flow.
• Maintain accurate customer service/activity records and provide monthly reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemical science
• Availability for regular business travel
• Extensive business-to-business sales experience in chemical related industry

Our client is Singapore based architecture, interior design, and planning consultancy company with a focus on creating human centric for healthcare, research laboratories, eldercare and workplace environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead specific healthcare project(s), ensuring smooth execution and coordination.
• Attend and chair meetings with clients, contractors, and design teams.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with clients, subconsultants, and contractors.
• Handle change requests from clients, subconsultants, and contractors.
• Supervise all architectural teams involved in the project and ensure proper coordination across all disciplines (e.g., architectural, structural, M&E, medical planning, interior design, and landscaping).
• Oversee the review of shop drawings, RFIs, material samples, and method statements.
• Collaborate with the design team to address design and coordination matters.
• Monitor on-site work progress and resolve any arising issues.
• Establish site office operational requirements with the contractor.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution and registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of architectural details, working drawings, and construction practices.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively with both design and site teams.

1. Audit professional with one or more of the following qualifications:

1.1 Bachelor degree in Accounting;

1.2 Possess CA Singapore Qualifications will be an advantage;

1.3 Possess other professional accountancy qualifications from recognized accountancy bodies that

are recognized in Singapore including ACCA / ICAEW /Singapore CA/ CPA Australia or equivalent;

2. Big 4 audit experience preferred. Candidates from the mid-tier audit firms will be considered.

3. Minimum of 5 years in auditing with at least 1 year in a supervisory role and currently working in the

audit profession preferred.

4. Knowledge and competent to handle all auditing areas and the International Financial Reporting

Standards and the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Knowledge and experience of US

Generally Accepted Accounting Principles will be an advantage.

5. Required language: Fluent in verbal and written English.

6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

7. Salary commensurate with work experience in auditing.

8. Able to start at short notice will be an advantage.
