• Manage and optimize spare parts inventory, ensuring the right balance between stock levels and operational needs. This includes maintaining an inventory of critical spare parts for emergency repairs and routine maintenance.
• Develop and manage budgets for spare parts procurement, ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining the required quality and reliability of parts.
• Ensure that all procured spare parts meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This may involve working closely with engineers and technical teams to assess the specifications and compatibility of parts.
• Provide technical advice and support to maintenance teams, engineers, and other stakeholders on spare parts selection, technical specifications, and troubleshooting issues related to equipment and machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, delivery schedules, and warranty information. Generate reports on procurement activity, stock levels, and cost analysis for management review.
