We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to support product and service procurement for various departments within the company. The ideal candidate will manage the full procurement process, including sourcing bids, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ensuring vendor performance. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Procurement Support:

• Support the product and service procurement needs of multiple departments by soliciting competitive bids in accordance with the company’s standard procurement policies and procedures.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of bids, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial specifications.

2.Requisition Confirmation & Coordination:

• Check requisitions from various departments, addressing any discrepancies or incomplete information regarding specifications, quality, quantity, or delivery requirements.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure accurate procurement specifications.

3.Bid Evaluation & Vendor Clarification:

• Organize and facilitate technical and commercial clarification meetings with vendors when necessary to ensure that all specifications and requirements are understood and addressed.
• Evaluate the vendor quotations to support the vendor shortlisting and selection process.

4.Cost Optimization & Recommendations:

• Recommend alternatives or substitutions where cost savings or improved delivery timelines can be achieved without compromising on quality or specifications.
• Ensure that procurement decisions align with departmental needs while optimizing cost efficiency.

5.Purchase Contracts Review & Management:

• Check purchase contracts that clearly outline agreed specifications, terms, and conditions to ensure both the company and vendors are aligned.
• Monitor and manage purchase contracts to ensure that vendors meet their obligations regarding delivery, quality, and timelines.

6.Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist with any other procurement-related tasks as assigned to support smooth operations and meet company objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A recognized university degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience, with familiarity in tendering processes, bid evaluations, and contract negotiation.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to work effectively with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in commercial bid evaluation and purchase contracts review.

The Securities Banking Senior Specialist provides supervision and guidance to Settlement/Transfer team in their daily operational activities covering Equities, Bonds, Structure Notes, Mutual Fund, Hedge Fund and Private Equity Fund.  In addition, he/she will also be monitoring and undertaking Asian’s client transaction processes, working within agreed AAPL and Client policies and procedures.

Your key tasks 

• Ensuring that all transactions (free and against payment) are processed correctly and settled in a timely manner.
• Control actions/coordination with clients, trade departments and custodians.
• Cash and security reconciliation
• Compliance with Services Level Agreements (SLA), KRI/KPI and keeping oneself abreast of market/regulatory changes.

• Design and organize regular DR tests to verify the DR plans to achieve cloud systems' defined RTO and RPO.

• Make recommendations for improvements to the DR plans as new cloud recovery technologies become available to ensure increased resilience.

Work with application teams to identify and document resiliency risks and remediation plans.

Advocate for the use of automation whenever possible to reduce human error. Participate in cloud systems risk reviews.

Experience and skills requirements

Experience

Minimum 2-3 years working experience in architecting, designing, developing and implementing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Service (AWS) Experience in identifying deficiencies in cloud recovery strategies, plans, and internal processes.

•Understanding of best cloud organizational practices, operations risk management processes, architectural requirements, and vulnerability risk.

• Experience conducting comprehensive risk assessments of information systems, applications, and processes to identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and impacts. Experience monitoring and analyzing emerging cloud threats and trends to proactively identify potential risks.

Technical experience

Hands on experience in developing DR plans for cloud-based systems

Hands on experience in architecting, planning and conducting DR tests for cloud- based systems

Hands on experience in configuring cloud components with adequate redundancy, backup, monitoring and logging to prevent outages.

Hands on experience with providing support for cloud infrastructure audit and security compliance activities.

Certification

Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) / comparable certificate or education.
