RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee the filing of regular tax returns, tax audit / inquiries and notices from tax authorities, GST/VAT and withholding tax
• Lead implementation of Pillar 2 compliance for the Group
• Assist the group to comply with transfer pricing rules and plan comprehensive tax and transfer pricing strategies through the use of Organisation for Economic Cooperation (OECD) guidelines' and Singapore transfer pricing guidelines' methodologies.
• Manage all Singapore GST matters for the group ensuring tax compliance with GST regulations
• Provide advice on all tax matters including day-to-day tax planning and advisory / operational business support, review of commercial contracts and cross-border transactions, tax reporting and tax due diligence.
• Monitor and analyse the impact of proposed and newly enacted tax legislation on the business in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Identify tax efficient opportunities and assist with all aspects of tax strategy management, business acquisition and restructuring initiatives, tax efficient structuring and mitigation of tax risks.
• Support the tax provisioning process for the finance team.

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate and international shipping tax with prior experience in Big 4
• Familiar with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Singapore Transfer Pricing guidelines.
• Degree in Accountancy or its' equivalent or any professional tax qualifications.

You will assist the Accountant in maintaining full sets of accounts, ensure smooth year end audit processes, timely month end closing, preparation of reports and analyses and other ad-hoc assignments as directed. You will work closely with the project teams on project related matters and the GL team during month end close to ensure accurate recording of costs and revenue. Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Deputy Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Analyst will play a key role in the Finance team to deliver the full spectrum of professional finance, tax and compliance activities to Woh Hup (WH) Group of companies. This position offers the opportunity to gain a deep expertise within the finance & tax function with the ability to work with senior stakeholders including those in joint ventures, banks, and government bodies, and to lead and drive business optimization projects from the planning through to implementation.

Given the dynamic nature of the business, the below is a non-exhaustive list of deliveries expected from the candidate. However, it covers the foundation responsibilities and capabilities that are required for the candidate to be successful in this role.

• Governance and compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. Assist in planning, designing, and implementing compliance and governance frameworks, programmes, and initiatives to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and develop strategies. Skills and Requirements

• A degree in Finance/ Accountancy or its equivalent.

The accountant will perform the full spectrum of accounts including preparation of financial reports for management, tax calculations and related/ad-hoc work for the business entities. Handle both direct and indirect taxes across all business operations in Asia, Europe, USA, Latin America and Middle East in which the group has a presence, and including new markets to be developed. Key Accountabilities:

• Identifying risk areas through the review of the financial ratios and balance sheet

3. Assist the Manager in charge for the preparation of accurate and timely tax and audit submissions as well as being the main point of contact for all tax (GST, Corporate Tax, WHT, etc.) and statutory audit matters

• Preparation of all tax supporting schedules
• Monitoring tax submission calendar and working with Financial Controller to ensure that all submissions are completed on time
