Red Shield Industries (RSI) is the social enterprise arm of The Salvation Army.  By re-using, recycling, and restoring donations in kind from the public and corporations, it generates income through its Family Stores to support our mission to provide holistic care to the community.

RSI also strives to assist humanitarian needs in times of crisis and emergency, leveraging its logistics network to deliver aid to crisis areas in the region quickly and efficiently. 

Working closely with local and international organizations, RSI engages them in meaningful programs for their corporate social responsibility initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure that all electrical and electronic equipment, wiring installation, appliances, and peripherals are tested functionally to be in pristine working condition.
2. Ensure that all bulky, furniture, electrical and electronic donated items received are accounted for in accordance to the Collection Note/Service Note and properly handled and placed in respective inbound holding area.
3. Ensure all incoming items are inventoried and keyed into the inventory system.
4. Price all items at a reasonably and practically marketable and retail-able rate.
5. Clean all donated items to retail-able condition before sending to retail stores.
6. Ensure that all items prior to delivery are properly packed, labeled and accompanied with correct documentation before distribution to the various stores.
7. Maintain proper documentation and reports with regular update.
8. Undertake any projects and specific duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Attended secondary education 

Job Requirements

1. Posses knowledge in troubleshooting electrical and electronic items.
2. Possess basic computer knowledge.
3. Able to perform refurbishing work on the donated electronic items and furniture to retail-able condition.
4. Able to conduct market survey on second hand items price.

5.5 days / 44 hours per week

Mondays to Sundays (including Public Holiday)

8.30am to 6.00pm

* 1 Rest Day per week will be rostered

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take a lead role in partnering with our clients to understand their business challenges and develop holistic analytical solutions
• Translate business requirements into quantifiable metrics.
• Design data acquisition strategies and ensure that the datasets we are collecting meet our clients' requirements and follow good governance practices.
• Prepare and integrate client datasets, analyzing data sources for insights.
• Design dashboards and presentations that tell clear stories, create ad hoc reports that deep dive into business opportunities and discovering valuable audiences and segments that contributes significantly to our clients business.
• Propose performance optimizing hypothesis and A/B test recipes across digital platforms to improve customer experience for audiences and segments with statistically confident results.
• Share observations and recommendations with our clients and inspire and educate them to become better in maximising the value their data give them.
• Build processes to effectively create and scale our delivery of data and analytics insights
• Constantly sharpen your skills across the best-in-class data technology stacks that we adopt, new data analysis techniques and be on top of industry trends to deliver effective consultation.
• Acquire required certifications and complete training as per identified by Head of Customer Intelligence
• Mentor and develop junior members of the team
• Contribute to the development of content that builds thought leadership for the company
• An associate analyst role may be offered depending on your experience.

Description:

Art:

Main duty:

1. To assist the art dept with acquisition of materials and resources/Maintenance and Upkeep of the Art Block (Art rooms)

2. Maintenance and upkeep of art materials and assets. E.g, Drill press, Bend Saw, 3D printers

3. Supervision of students at work when no teaching staff is around.

4. Photo documentation of students at work for purposes of T&L review

Music:

Main duty:

1. To assist the music dept with acquisition of materials and resources as well as all related admin related to procurement

2. To help in the maintenance and upkeep of the music rooms, including management of the library, cataloguing, and regularly stock taking

3. Supervision of students at work on occasions when teaching staff is not around.

4. Helping with the locking up of rooms at the end of the day on certain days of the week

5. Helping with lesson preparation materials when necessary

6. Helping to set up for lessons in terms of instruments / computer / electronic set up

7. Setting up of video cameras for practical examinations and extraction of videos + sending of relevant comment

Requirement:

a. Good communication and interpersonal skills

b. Good team player with a high level of initiative and independence.

c. Proficient in MS Office

d. Candidates with prior working experience in schools will be preferred.

e. Qualification: Full GCE O Level certificate or its equivalent

f. Able to work in a fast paced environment

g. Preferably with some prior experience in a makerspace or art studio environment.

YOUR ROLE AS TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

As a Technical Account Manager, your core responsibility will be to meet and exceed targets within your assigned accounts and territories. To achieve this, you will need to:

‣ Identify new business opportunities and seek out major clients over a wide geographical area and develop sales strategies and account plans to build, qualify, and convert the sales funnel.

JOB SCOPE

This is an entry-level role that involves the end-to-end process of market research. The key areas are detailed below:

Research, Analysis and Insights

• Support and work on a variety of research, including both qualitative (e.g. focus groups and in-depth interviews) and quantitative research (e.g. surveys and secondary data sources)
• Aid screener questions, discussion guides as well as survey questions
• Review and process data that is collected to ensure high quality standards
• Prepare tabulation specifications and create report templates and charts
• Translate the data and information into insights, that will help clients make informed decisions
• Analysing and synthesising data into easy-to-understand visuals and charts
• Writing commentaries in a narrative style, including summary and recommendations

Project Management

• Manage project timelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. programmers, vendors, data science, etc) to ensure timely project completion
• Manage or assist in project setup and fieldwork management
• Support fieldwork audit and quality control efforts
• Check survey link to ensure there are no errors
• Provide regular project or fieldwork updates to clients

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in related field, such as market research, business or marketing
• 1-2 years of related work experience preferred but otherwise fresh polytechnics and university graduates are also welcomed
• Strong attention to detail and able to multi-task with good time management
• Possesses great soft skills and personality - approachable, candid, go-getting and collaborative
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

In this role you will be responsible for

• Collect, clean, and analyze customer data, sales metrics, and CRM system data from various sources using Excel, SQL, Python, and other tools.
• Design and develop interactive reports using Power BI / Excel to visualize key business metrics and trends.
• Identify patterns, trends, and insights from data and communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.

Who we are looking for

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, with a focus on data analysis and visualization of a marketing or consumer focused database.
• Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Power BI and advanced Excel functions
• Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, and relational databases, R or Python
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and analysis to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and data mining techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of data engineering principles and technologies.
• Experience working in an E-commerce or D2C company.
• Worked previously in ambiguous and fast paced environments
