- Responsible for all techno-commercial activities, required to upkeep the business transactions and necessary for smooth execution of business.
- Responsible for addressing various technical discussions, trouble shooting, inventory checks, witness inspections and coordinating with client.
- Responsible for looking after projects and services for preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Responsible for developing client base and help in business development in spares. Projects and supervisory services.
- Work and support project team to bridge between technical and commercial aspects.
- Liaise & facilitate discussions with various OEM (MHI or Others) and with other MHI group companies for any requirements necessary for executing projects or any other business development.
- Responsible for coordinating with various vendors and suppliers.
1) Service support Group Activities
· Responsible for all necessary activities to upkeep the business transactions, such as but not limited to providing quote, accepting PO, coordinating with procurement & logistics and payment processing ect.
· Responsible to coordinate with client, for necessary daily communications, trouble shooting and any technical discussions.
· Responsible for leading & coordinating technical discussion for trouble shooting, STA activities and others with client and with vendors
· Responsible for up-keeping of all technical records, maintenance history, spares inventory etc. for each client.
· Responsible to prepare techno-commercial proposals required for any project.
· Work with project team as assigned, to develop and execute projects
· Oversee and manage commercial activities of Service Support Group, in order have seamless business transactions for supply of spares, providing services etc.
· Communicate and build relationship with Client’s contacts, procurement team and other necessary stakeholders.
· Support the preparation & review quotations, PO, contracts etc. to client and to vendors.
· Liaise with MHI Japan and other group companies to discuss the requirement, review prices, negotiate and discuss other strategies for pricing, sales terms & conditions, etc.
2. Business development Activities
· Responsible to work on business promotions, preparing promotional programs, materials and visits to clients for business promotion.
· Take part in business development activities such as organizing the sales call, preparing service menu, discussing with clients and follow up.
· Discussing with MHI-GX solutions for new business activities, new service menus and get necessary approvals.
· Responsible for commercial issues for after sales and project including but not limited to collection of bill, invoicing, contract negotiation, preparation of commercial proposal, taxation & Insurance, legal terms & conditions etc.
· Assist with preparing monthly reports to MHI-japan & MHIAP management on Technical Service BU.
· Assisting in developing knowledge and proving training for various technical aspects.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical engineering
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in chemical plant maintenance work
- Minimum 5 year in design related to rotary equipment
- General understanding for maintenance activities especially on rotary equipment such as inventory management, shutdown planning, trouble shooting, inventory management etc.
- Good know-how on reliability centered maintenance, shutdown planning, trouble shooting tools etc.
- Fair knowledge on chemical plants and its construction.
- High communication skills.
- Experience working with multi- nationals.
