The GCP DevOps engineers will work within an agile team of Engineers and Operations personnel building highly resilient, scalable and performant GCP infrastructure in an automated and efficient manner. The DevOps engineers will work alongside the Application DevOps teams and cross-functional IT teams. The engineers will be required to use their initiative to innovate to achieve maximum performance and be prepared to investigate and use new products/services offered by GCP.
Role Responsibilities
1. Build and manage the GCP platform to enable application deployments
2. Support and Operate GCP foundation platform using Infrastructure As Code methods (e.g. Terraform) Integrate, configure, deploy and manage centrally provided common cloud services (e.g. IAM, networking, logging, Operating systems, Containers.).
3. Curate and Publish centrally managed Hardened OS Image (Linux)
4. Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security.
5. Ensure compliancy with Operational risk standards (E.g. Network, Firewall, OS, Logging, Monitoring, Availability, Resiliency).
6. Build and support continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD) and continuous testing activities.
7. Support non-functional testing.
8. Update support and operational documentation as required.
9. Fault find and support Applications teams.
10. Ensure good Change management practice is implemented as specified by central standards. Provide impact assessments where requested for changes proposed on GCP platform.
Key Skills and Experience
1. Min 3 years’ experience supporting Operation on GCP

The Resident Technical Officer shall be directly responsible to the Consultant (Architect) / Project PM for the duration of the construction of the Works.

Shall assist in the supervision of the construction of the Structural Works under the Building Control Act and to render all assistance as may be required by the Consultant (Civil & Structural Engineer) and the Consultant (Mechanical & Electrical Engineer). For HDB Project Civil & Structural / Architectural Works:

Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent.

Registered RTO accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).

Preferred applicants with Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisors Course.

Job Description

1. Shall supervise all civil, structural including structural elements for Bridge / Viaducts, Roads, and specialist engineering works for compliance with the LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.

2. shall be independent and energetic to perform permanent shift work and project management work.

3. shall be competent with all necessary Ministry of Manpower WS requirements e.g. Work-At- Height (WAH), Lifting work, Permit-To-Work (PTW), etc.

4. Proficiency in MS Excel, Powerpoint, and maintaining of proper daily work progress record.

Responsibilities:

• To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act
• To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions.
• To check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person as stated below:

1. Check shop drawings submitted by contractor.
2. Check as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manual submitted by contractor.

• To check on quality of materials and samples delivered to site and report to Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications.
• To check mock-ups done on site, where necessary.
• To ensure that the required construction tests in connection with the construction works are carried out where necessary.
• To prepare defect lists, monitor progress of rectification works and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified
• Write daily reports of works done by contractor and record daily manpower status on site.
• Inspect and maintain records of equipment/machinery/licensed machinery operator/permits (both statutory and aviation requirements)
• To ensure that the structural elements or critical works of the construction works are being carried out in accordance with the approved plans and with any terms and conditions imposed by the Commissioner of Building Control where necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience as a RTO, of which at least three (3) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to major construction works in buildings, services laying and lighting & control systems.
• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution or relevant qualifications.
• Accreditation with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore are preferred.
• Certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) Course.
• Contract Period: 1 year , subject to extension depending on project requirement

Responsibilities

• Be full time onsite to oversee the works performed by the Contractor
• Take instructions from the Remediation Director to carry out the remediation works
• Ensure that statutory approvals are being obtained before commencing the corresponding works
• Manage and supervise drilling related to environmental assessment
• Manage and supervise proper collection of soil and groundwater samples
• Liaise with the Contractor’s personnel to carry out the works in accordance to the Contract
• Write environment related incident reports

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience in similar site investigation and remediation projects
• Completed at least ten (10) relevant projects (supervision of excavation, drilling and sample collection)

Description:

• To be overall in-charge of the management and control of individual site team of Resident Engineer(s) and Resident Technical Officer(s) and ensure that there is satisfactory supervision provided.
• To monitor and control all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping
• and submitting record of works progress, variation works, materials, vessel movements, equipment at the Project Site(s), tests reports, inspections, provisional quantities, day works, attending meetings, writing and filing minutes of meetings and discussions, coordinating the Main Reclamation Contractor’s works with consultants (if any), Authorities/stakeholders and any external parties like neighbouring contractors and utility companies, monitoring the Main Reclamation Contractor’s schedules, etc. and submitting all reports to the Employer, Consultant,
• relevant Authorities and/or Stakeholders etc.
• To attend all site progress, technical, interface, variation, co-ordination, design/technical meetings and any other meetings To review & comment Drawings, Method Statement (MS), shop drawings, etc. and assist in variation order/claims, progress claim validation, etc.
• To review all Drawings and Specifications, and raise any discrepancies and/or possible problems before reclamation and its related works commence on the Project Site(s) and progressively throughout Time for Completion and any Extended Time for Completion.
• To supervise all related works to the Project which shall include but not limited to reclamation works, infilling works, sand rehandling works, dredging works, slope revetment works, construction of Eastern and Western Jetties, removal of metal anomalies and unexploded ordnances, survey works, soil improvement works, soil investigation works, instrumentation monitoring works, EMMP works, housekeeping works, auxiliary works etc
• To supervise all related works to Project which shall include the sand rehandling operation at the Employer’s Designated Sand Stockpile(s) which shall include but not limited to sand rehandling works, dredging works, survey works, sampling and testing, soil investigation works, EMMP works, housekeeping works, auxiliary works etc.

Qualification

• Minimally a Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board in the respective field of works below.
• Resident Engineers (REs) for both Land Works and Marine Works, the minimum experiences are as follows:
• The REs shall have at least five (5)* years of site supervisory experience with minimum two (2) years in land reclamation, marine construction or coastal development related projects, and accredited by IES/ACES as a RE
• Must be literate in English, proficient in writing minutes of meetings & reports and have a good knowledge to use computer, computer software, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software to keep track and monitor the Project.
• The candidate must be able to clear any internal security checks conducted by the Employer and/or Singapore Government.
• The candidate should possess a strong, mature and proven ability to organize, manage and motivate the site staff team and use sound judgment in relation to construction matters.
• REs must have good knowledge of the operation procedures for reclamation and/or marine related projects within Singapore Waters, particularly on dredgers, barges etc., knowledge on MPA’s rules and regulations.

• The RTOs shall have at least (3)* years of site supervisory experience with minimum two (2) years in land reclamation, marine construction or coastal development related projects, and accredited by IES/ACES as a RTO.
• Must be literate in English and have adequate knowledge to use computer, reply emails, use computer software, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
• The candidate must be able to clear any internal security checks conducted by the Employer and/or Singapore Government. The candidate must possess and demonstrate a track record of being team players with ability to contribute.
• For the proposed RTOs, he shall have adequate knowledge of the operation procedures for reclamation and/or marine related projects within Singapore Waters, particularly on dredgers, barges etc.

Job Description

• Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client's requirements.
• To report to C&S QP, works closely with the regulatory authorities and contractors to provide supervision on site, resolve all site issues and ensure timelycompletion of the projects.
• To be competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site. The appointed person must havethe strong ability to interpret the drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.
• Appointed person possesses a complete understanding of local requirements, especially to comply with BCA's criteria for build-ability and safety assurancesystem.
• To carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM.
• To manage the site supervisors with respect to C&S engineering works, architectural and MandE engineering works.
• To attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings Interpret drawings and contract documents on works to be carried

Requirement :

• Atleast four (4) years of relevant experience as a civil engineer, of which at least two (2) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to works in this Contract.
• The RE shall be an engineer in the civil/structural discipline with qualification accredited by the Commissioner of Building Control and accepted by Institute of Engineer Singapore (IES) / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)

• The proposed SRTOs must have adequate knowledge of the operation procedures for reclamation and/or marine related projects within Singapore Waters, particularly on dredgers, barges etc.
