About This Role:-
This a technical individual contributor role and you will be part of a dynamic team in the Technology Department. As a senior IT security engineer, you should have the relevant skills and experience in handling the offensive, defensive, and operational aspects of security. In the course of work, you will also gain deeper exposure to the world of digital assets, Web 3.0, blockchain technologies, smart contracts and exchange trading systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, lead and manage vendors in the implementation of IT security architecture, platforms, and solutions
- Coordinate and implement security solution delivery which may include access control solutions, blockchain and wallet security, virtual private network (VPN), identity and access management platforms, data protection technologies, anti-malware, vulnerability management, security monitoring and compliance tools
- Conduct regular security analysis such as penetration test and platform vulnerability scanning to prevent cyber attacks
- Oversee day-to-day IT security operations, including monitoring security systems, analyzing logs, and responding to security incidents in a timely manner
- Proven experience in IT security engineering specifically on application infrastructure defence-in-depth strategies
- Perform security review of the whole IT Security environment including servers and networks to ensure compliance with MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) guidelines.
- Provide support, guidance and ideas to various company technology initiatives
- Support efforts in ensuring IT security policies, standards and procedures maintain relevant to regulatory/audit requirements and best practices
- Develop/implement automated systems to help spot known crypto security exposures.
- Stay current on the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities to ensure the cyber security architecture and defences are up to date.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT Security and/or IT Networking
- Relevant industry certification in security (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH etc.)
- Good knowledge of the regulatory standards in data protection and security of information systems
- Good working knowledge of AWS cloud security and DevSecOps would be an advantage
- Good working knowledge of blockchain and/or digital assets is preferred
- Strong communication / inter-personal skills, with a high level of integrity and trust.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
