Key Responsibilities

• Setup and optimize applications and databases to meet project requirements.
• Analyze, review, and suggest software application improvements to support new services.
• Collaborate with software development teams, clients, and users to boost application performance.
• Administer applications, including user account management and configuration.
• Develop and execute comprehensive Test Plans and User Acceptance Tests (UAT).
• Prepare detailed UAT reports and maintain configuration records.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, liaising with vendors as needed.
• Manage application migrations and rollouts for new releases.
• Monitor and document application performance metrics.
• Develop tools to assist L1/L2 teams in their investigations.

Technical Expertise:

• Solid understanding of CCTV/networked camera systems and IoT management applications.
  Proficient in application design, analysis, and technical documentation.
  Knowledge of Video Management products and network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  Hands-on experience with Golang, Node.js, JavaScript, Windows Server OS, CentOS, Ubuntu OS, and MongoDB.
  

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.
  Relevant working experience in video and IoT management applications, software analysis, and design.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect outgoing and incoming parts according to established procedures and specifications, including incoming process inspections.
• Maintain accurate quality records and manage quality-related data.
• Identify and escalate quality issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Ensure segregation of non-conforming products to prevent mixing with conforming products.
• Authorize rejection of parts that do not meet quality standards.
• Approve the release of conforming parts for storage and subsequent delivery.
• Conduct routine factory tests and inspections on completed switchboards.
• Perform testing and commissioning of switchboards on-site or on vessels, ensuring customer satisfaction, and address warranty claims or quality concerns.
• Conduct official tests on switchboards with surveyors, consultants, or customers as required.
• Support the manager in fulfilling quality responsibilities and achieving objectives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the QA Department.
• Adhere to safety protocols during all tasks.
• Use calibrated instruments for inspections to ensure accuracy.
• Initiate actions to prevent product non-conformities.
• Propose and implement solutions for identified issues.
• Verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
• Control further processing or delivery of non-conforming products until issues are resolved.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
• Comply with the Quality Management System procedures for effective implementation and control.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Prefer 2 to 3 years of QA experience in marine or industrial field.
• Experience in testing of switchboards/panels will be an advantage.
• Willing to work onboard the vessel and travel occasionally.

• Salary: Up to SGD 3,500 +AWS +VB (2 Months)
• Working Location: Tuas Crescent
• Working Days: 5-day work week
• Working Hours: 8:15 am to 5:45 pm
