Scope of Duties

· Costing and Tendering for Electrical LV Panels.

· Standardization and Documentation of costing documents, files and procedures.

· Generate data from system for management team analysis.

· Compare Tender & As built Electrical drawings and document variations.

· Compilation and Preparation of Price and Technical info for Quote submission.

· Prepare quotes for variations.

· Prepare quotes for Spare Parts.

· Ensure compliance to company guidelines and confidentiality requirements.

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualifications

· Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

· Able to study and interpret Electrical Single Line, Schematic and GA drawings.

Preferred Skills

· Good communication and team work skills.

· Willingness to learn and always look for continuous improvements.

Work Experience

· Minimum 2 years in Electrical Industry in Design, Tendering or Project execution.

Key Responsibilities Area

• Carry out implementation activities for plant modifications, capital projects and other identified plant improvement projects in line with defined specifications, budget and qualification of facilities in accordance with site to approved procedures.
• Provides specialist advice to other departments and subordinates for trouble shooting / continuous improvements to processes / systems.
• Maintain the site equipment and facility to high GMP standard meeting the regulatory expectations such that the site is always inspection ready.
• Implementation and execute of the Product Contamination Cause and Elimination (PCCE) program.
• Provide input to the project team of capital projects as well as develop and implement the maintenance plan for newly installed equipment.
• Provide site inputs to the development of Global Engineering Standards (GES) and Primary Supply Standard Engineering Practices (PMSEP).
• Monitor and enforce compliance measures (including safety) within their specific discipline to ensure inspection readiness of plant, as well as participate as an audit team member in the conduct of audits.
• Contribute to the development of the annual operating budget of the section to ensure achievement operational targets of section.
• Implementation of the GSK Production System (GPS) for Engineering
• Responsible for planning and implementing plant maintenance, managing of engineering resources during plant turnaround and prompt resolution of breakdowns, including engaging external assistance.
• To support the development of facility master plan to ensure compliance to engineering standards, management of obsolescence and asset replacement.
• Monitor and manage the defined utility system to ensure constant and reliable utility supply to the plant at all times so as to minimize disruption to the production process.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Min bachelor’s degree in instrumentation & control or electrical engineering
• Min 5 years of instrumentation & control experience in pharmaceutical industry or oil & gas industry
• Experience in Batch Control ISA-88 and Delta V system
• Experience in SIL calculation and TMR system (Honeywell Safety Manager) will be added advantage
• Experience in the Siemen PLC system
• Good understanding of local codes and requirements
• Familiar and understanding of GSK Global Engineering Standard (GES) and understanding of industrial standards
• Basic commercial knowledge & project management skills
• Effective communication & Operational Excellence skills
