Service Delivery Technical Consultants are skilled professionals who form part of our SaaS Operations team delivering services to our clients. The main purpose of the role is to contribute to the successful support and maintenance of SimCorp Dimension and to all aspects of service delivery around SimCorp Dimension.

Service Delivery Technical Consultants support our clients by providing solutions and deploying services related to the usage of SimCorp Dimension. They work closely with local and global teams within SimCorp. They instruct, coach and mentor less experienced consultants.

In this key role you will work on client site shift to provide technical support & solutions to overcome issues encountered by the customer and to optimise usage of the systems for them. Tasks and Responsibilities

• You will be the key contact for our clients regarding production support and help manage the relationship.
• Provide L1- L3 support for resolving problems and issues that occur in the technical solutions and the system operations of SimCorp Dimension and the underlying infrastructure at clients to provide convincing and timely solutions to our clients.
• Report and dashboard maintenance and enhancement and daily operations of technology platforms (including monitoring and troubleshooting)
• Weekend/Public Holiday works are required on occasion. Working extended hours might also be required on occasion.

Your qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field
• Broad knowledge and solid experience in technology operations and experience of managing or working with large software applications in complex technology environments.
• Minimum three years of experience in SQL, PL/SQL programming
• Experience in enterprise reporting and BI tools like SAP Crystal Reports, Business Object, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos or others
• Experience in Oracle Performance Tuning
• You are good at working on and prioritizing multiple tasks at the same time.
• Proactive nature, service-minded, and a natural drive for problem-solving, enthusiastic, committed, result-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.
• Excellent client communication and presentation skills, including listening skills, and fluency in English (spoken and written)

• You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the middleware components that facilitate communication and integration between various software applications and systems.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and administering Red Hat JBoss and IBM WebSphere application servers.
• Knowledge of IBM MQ messaging middleware, including queue managers, channels, and message queuing protocols.

• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving middleware-related issues in a production environment.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Shell, Python, or PowerShell).

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working with Rotating Machinery in the oil and gas industry and/or power generation industry.
• Experience working on Siemens Energy Gas Turbines and/or Turbo Compressors.
• Good understanding of operations of gas turbine and driven compression equipment and their associated auxiliary systems – air filtration, acoustic packages, lube oils systems, fuel gas systems, seal gas system and other auxiliary systems.
• Ability to work as a team player and contribute to the success of the team.
• Ability to communicate and exchange ideas effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to initiate ideas to resolve complex issues into practical engineering solutions.
• Ability (BOSIET, CA-EBS, MIST, H2S) and willingness to travel to supplier and customer sites to perform site surveys, assessments, customer meetings, and possibly participate in safety discussions.
• Knowledge of the following: IEC, ISO, NFPA, NACE, API, Machinery Directive, EMC, CSA, ANSI, ASME, UL

Your responsibilities

• Act as technical consultant to end customer, joint venture partner, project teams, marketing & sales team etc.
• Provide prompt technical response to Customer to keep our customer equipment operating safely.
• Assist and guide Customer to fault find and resolve equipment related technical issues.
• Direct communications with vendors in the solution of auxiliary equipment failure or malfunction.
• Liaise with Product Competency Center (PCC) to seek further support if technical issue cannot be resolved regionally.
• Write fact based technical reports with high level of proficiency.
• Identification of complaints from customer and escalate it through appropriate channels.
• Perform field tests and failure investigation on overall packages and components.
• Support MK&S team to identify new opportunities from technical recommendations provided to the customer.
• Assist Project Team during planning and execution.
• Assist in the training of Company and Customer personnel.
• Provide hands-on service and troubleshooting as required. At times, this will require traveling to site (around 30% of the time).
• Capable and willing to assist the Regional Technical Support Manager in special projects and improvement initiatives.

Regional Technical Support Engineer (TSE) provides technical and engineering support related to equipment within a Siemens Energy (SE) Aero-Derivative Gas Turbine (AGT) Package. The Regional TSE position is an integral part of the Regional Operations team.
