Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• 5-12 years of experience in Data Center infrastructure Operations support and server administration in a mid-sized environment (200 - 1000+ server systems).
• 5-12 years of incident management experience, responding to electrical and mechanical failures, focusing on incident resolution and lessons learned.
• Proficiency in two or more of the following areas:
• Power capacity allocation for high and low-density racks.
• Incident management and resolution for outages related to M&E.
• Systems administration (Linux and/or Windows Servers).
• Networking (DNS, TCP/IP).
• Proficiency in data center design, commissioning, and operational best practices.
• Track record of executing Method of Process (MOP) improvements.

As the Senior Embedded Systems Engineer of our research center, you will play a key role in developing innovative solutions that enhance embodied learning.

As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer at CELL, you will be a vital contributor to our research initiatives, specializing in the design, development, and optimization of embedded systems that support embodied learning technologies. Working in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, you will lead the implementation of hardware and software solutions, ensuring they align with the center's research objectives and contribute to the overall success of our research initiatives. You will report to the Director of the center.

The major responsibilities include:

• Lead the prototyping and development of technologies that embody research insights, ensuring feasibility and scalability
• Collaborate with researchers to understand the theoretical underpinnings of embodied learning technologies
• Translate research findings into practical engineering solutions with a focus on real-world applicability
• Engage with educators and educational institutions to understand needs and challenges
• Customize and adapt embodied learning solutions to suit different educational contexts

Qualifications
