• Designs and writes program specifications based on consultations with supervisor, systems analysts, other programmers, and end users.
• Converts designs and specifications into computer code.
• Compiles code into programs and corrects errors detected in the compile process.
• Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm the program meets specifications.
• Analyses code to find causes of errors and revise programs.
• Writes and maintains documentation of changes to computer code, programs, and specifications.
• Designs and codes layouts for onscreen user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.
• Engages in user review and technical documentation written by others to confirm consistency with program operations.
• Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise
• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel
• Experience with programming or computer science/engineering
• Familiarity with relational database schemas and SQL
• Knowledge of using modern developmental tools
• Expertise in programming a software program (windows or web based) that interacts with a relational database
• Knowledge of coding languages

Job Description

• Responsible for construction planning and scheduling of materials, manpower, plants and equipments ;
• Projection and monitoring the progress of works ;
• Preparation of weekly / monthly progress reports ;
• Coordinate with project team to ensure activities are completed on time.

Job Requirement

• Degree / Diploma in construction related field ;
• Minimum 5 years of working experience as Planning Engineer

• Carry out Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (EICA) design for construction projects.
• Manage the procurement, costing and delivery of electrical software and hardware required
• Make PLC programming according to clients’ technical specifications
• Liaise with contractors for control panel, electrical equipment and components delviery
• Organize and lead testing and commissioning at site
• Attend to EICA breakdowns with diagnosis and solutions
• Attend meetings with subcontractors and clients for technical clarifications and arrangements.
• Keep records of EICA design, drawings, and document systematically
• Provide support and assistance to Sales Department and Maintenance Team
• Other ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years related working experience
• Proficient with PLCs, like Siemens, Schneider, Allen-Bradley, ABB & Omron
• Well-versed with SCADA and HMI
• Excellent communication skill
