This individual will identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales in the Process Automation Industry through effective account / opportunities development strategies to ensure a long-term business partnership and achievement of corporate goals.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Cold calling and acquisition of new potential accounts for growth.
• In-depth coverage and understanding of assigned accounts directly and/or with channels to identify customer needs and develop opportunities to orders.
• Develop and execute effective sales activities (products/solution, opportunities follow up) for the assigned accounts to achieve sales growth objectives assigned.
• Collaborate with Market Product Management and Business Development teams regarding competition, offering, and/or market needs to increase win probability and market share.
• Support in the development and execution of account related marketing plans and activities as needed.
• Maintain sound technical/application knowledge of the products, relevant to industry assigned to develop trust and confidence of customer base.
• Ensure all assigned accounts issues are resolved in a timely and escalate as needed.
• Comply with company policy on sales processes and use of sales tools.
• Proactive usage of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain account details for effective account development planning, funnel management and collaboration.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Control/Instrument Engineering or related fields.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience within a sales environment
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in the command of english for required to hold business meetings and sales pitches
• Customer-centric and results-oriented.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Design and Documentation: Carry out detailed electrical design, including sizing and drawing preparation. Develop technical documents, including P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), I/O wiring diagrams, and technical data sheets.
• Programming: Program and configure PLC/HMI systems to meet project specifications.
• Component Selection and Calculations: Perform electrical calculations and select components for ATEX environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Document Review: Review electrical documents and specifications provided by suppliers and consultants for accuracy and alignment with project needs.
• Supplier and Consultant Coordination: Work closely with suppliers, consultants, and sub-contractors to resolve technical issues both on-site and in-office settings.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines within the department to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Pre-Procurement and Evaluation: Prepare pre-procurement documents and conduct technical evaluations of quotations from vendors and suppliers.
• Overseas Project Support: Provide engineering support for international projects, including troubleshooting and technical assistance.
• Project Scheduling and Reporting: Assist in developing project schedules, creating work procedures and method statements, and preparing monthly progress reports.
• Hazardous Area Knowledge: Understand hazardous area classifications and select appropriate instruments for hazardous zones (e.g., EX-d, EX-i certifications).

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical design and programming.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming, electrical calculations, and knowledge of ATEX standards.
