• 7+ years field experience of quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on new business
• Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
• A track record of over achievement and hitting sales targets
• Skilled in building business champions and running a complex sales process
• Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
• Familiarity with databases, develops and open source technology a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Procure container terminal services for best price/quality levels
• Implement TSAs and SLAs with vendors after contract negotiations
• Mitigate adverse developments in performance levels by terminals
• Ensure relevant departments are adhering to procurement results
• Improve unit cost levels constantly by either re-negotiating terms or improving operational efficiencies
• Propose more economical terminals for T/S or gateway cargo to Network and Trades
• Perform or assist in ad-hoc projects and cost saving analyses

Requirements

• Degree in relevant discipline
• Proficiency in Excel is required
• Strong analytical skills with a keen sense for numbers
• Terminal procurement experience would be advantageous
• Working experience in the Maritime industry is preferred
