Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be part of the HR Team based in Singapore. This role requires you to handle end to end HR and payroll full function for the local brand.

HR Generalists

· Recruiting, retention, and talent succession

(Understand the organization's needs and make sure those needs are met when recruiting for new positions, means hire the right employee)

· Providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations when dealing with staff with complex and sensitive issues

· Monthly processing and checking of payroll/reimbursement (200 plus headcount)

· Maintains compliance with local employment laws, regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

· MOM work pass applications

· Oversees employee disciplinary meeting, investigationand termination.

· Providing information and answering employee questions related matters.

Administration

Payroll

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Manager to oversee all aspects of our marine operations. The ideal candidate will possess a Class 1 Certificate of Competency (CoC), a strong command of maritime regulations, a proven track record in vessel management, and extensive experience working with oil majors.

Responsibilities

● Operational Excellence:

○ Plan, direct, and coordinate all marine operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry best practices.

○ Optimize vessel schedules and deployments to maximize productivity and profitability.

○ Oversee cargo operations, bunkering, and port calls, ensuring smooth and timely execution.

● Compliance and Safety:

○ Ensure full compliance with all relevant local and international maritime regulations, including those of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).

○ Implement and maintain a robust safety management system (SMS) in accordance with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code.

○ Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.

○ Oversee investigations into any incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

○ Specifically ensure adherence to oil major safety protocols and best practices.

● Team Development:

○ Identify the training needs of the Marine Management team.

Requirements

• Class 1 Certificate of Competency (CoC) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ship management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience working with oil majors is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of international maritime conventions and regulations, including SOLAS, MARPOL, and the ISM Code.
• Extensive experience working with oil majors, demonstrating a strong understanding of their specific safety and operational requirements.
• Must possess a relevant chemical tanker certification OR have substantial experience in the safe handling of chemical cargoes.

Job Description:

• Perform all assigned warehouse tasks through safe, efficient, cost effective and accurate handling of customer products and materials using manual labour and equipment including forklift, reach truck and pallet jack
• Track and monitor inbound and outbound container status; and plan and coordinate loading and unloading of goods
• Timely loading and unloading of goods; and take photos of the unstuffing process to verify if there are damaged and/or discrepancy of goods received
• After unstuffing, check and take photos of the containers to ensure that the containers are externally sound and undamaged
• Submit the photos taken during and after the unstuffing process to the customer service department before returning the containers to depot appointed by the carriers to avoid disputes concerning the condition of returned containers as well as discrepancy in goods received
• Ensure prompt reporting of any suspected or apparent damage of containers and missing and/or damaged goods to the immediate supervisor
• Responsible for moving, sorting, labelling, repacking, stacking and storage control of goods
• Accurately locate and pick, both by hand and by using appropriate equipment including forklift and reach truck, from pallets, racks and shelves and the staging area
• Packing and/re-packing goods according customer specifications
• Release cargo for deliveries and self collections by customers
• Manage returned goods and conduct investigation on causes of returns; and provide feedback to team lead for recommendation of solutions
• Update warehouse management system and inventory status in client’s system
• Conduct stock take periodically and report discrepancies, if any
• Scanning of delivery orders duly signed by customers with company stamp
• Inspect equipment used in warehouse periodically and report any abnormalities or mechanical failures to the team lead to arrange for repair and servicing
• Responsible for housekeeping to ensure that the warehouse is maintained in a clean, neat, safe and orderly manner
• Comply with company regulations and rules at all times
• Perform general works and/or other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or authorised personnel
