• Perform routine checks on both inbound and outbound goods to ensure they meet required quality criteria and specifications;
• Work closely with various departments to pinpoint and rectify quality issues, encouraging continuous improvement;
• Create and refresh documentation related to quality, such as SOPs and instructional guides;
• Provide quality control training to warehouse personnel to ensure consistent compliance and understanding;
• Evaluate quality performance data, delivering periodic analyses and suggestions for process optimisation to leadership;
• Lead the investigations into customer quality issues, resolving issues by collaborating with customer support and logistics internal teams;
• Design and execute plans for corrective and preventive measures to eliminate quality inconsistencies;
• Coordinate and lead quality review meetings, both within the organization and with external parties, to ensure process compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience in the logistics & supply chain industry;
• Experience in quality control and assurance in a similar environment;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Knowledge of SAP;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Meticulous and detail-oriented;
• Able to work well independently, as well as effectively in a team;
• Highly organised and detail-oriented.

Job Description

• Require to execute instructions received from the controller for Import, Export & Loose cargo. This includes assisting in getting a PSA rebate for the company which required the driver to be activated after working hours
• Collect and deliver cargo to customer premises. This shall include proper loading/unloading and securing of cargo for safe carriage and handling
• Maintain close contact with the office on collection & delivery schedule via walkie-talkie, radio, or mobile phone
• Maintained trips record for cargo collection/delivery in the Log Book for operational and performance requirements
• Comply with LTA traffic regulations and safety standards and maintain a safe driving record.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any vehicle defects to ensure the company vehicle is maintained in proper working condition at all times
