Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive commercial due diligence and research on companies in the marine, energy, and commodities sectors.
• Prepare detailed profile reports covering company background, operations, financial status, performance, and market reputation.
• Develop concise final assessments and company ratings based on research findings and specific business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-regional teams, including counterparts in the UK, Americas, and Europe, to ensure high-quality research output.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients to understand and address their specific research and reporting requirements.
• Collect and analyze various data sources efficiently to meet tight deadlines for report delivery.
• Stay updated with global economic trends, current affairs, and industry developments relevant to the marine, energy, and commodities markets.
• Present findings and reports in clear, structured, and grammatically correct English, ensuring accuracy and coherence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a business or risk management capacity.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide insightful conclusions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with an ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.

The Role

• Perform warehousing and logistics functions such as receiving, putting away of goods, picking, and marshaling
• Perform housekeeping tasks
• Conduct physical counts to ensure the accuracy
• Practice safe work procedures and identify potential hazard
• Handle stocks & equipment with care
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

About You

• Experienced in warehouse and logistics will be an advantage
• Comfortable working in Cold Room Environment (0°Cto 0°C)
• Ability to work 5 days per week, including weekends

Event Period

• 2nd December to 24th December
• 9th December to 24th December

*Note: Candidates must be able to commit fully from 19th December to 24th December

Job Purpose

・Assistant for above department

・Analyse shipping market data, and making forecasts

・Establish and nurture client relationships

・Develop and optimize logistics networks

・Chartering and operating shipments

・Logistics in domestic, import, export, and trade among three countries.

・Deep understanding of logistics and Shipping market.

・Excellent personal connection with logistics companies or shipping companies.

・General operation of concluding transportation contracts with customers in Overseas.

・Negotiating all trade conditions with shipping companies.

Qualifications:

・Possess university degree or diploma in any field.

・Working experience in logistics company or shipping company.

・Language: English (Native), Japanese (Business)
