Job Description: Logistics Executive

Work Location:Singapore

Reporting Structure:Direct report to Group SCM Head; functionally reports to Logistics Manager who are based in Durapower-Suzhou.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review logistics and product information, develop logistics plans, and select transport modes.
• Prepare customs documents and coordinate with customs for smooth clearance.
• Analyse logistics costs, optimize channels, and manage carrier relationships.
• Manage warehouse operations, ensure accurate inventory, and track shipment progress.
• Address logistics issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics Management, or related fields
• Minimum of 3-5 years in international logistics. Experience with batteries and related goods is a plus but not a must. Some knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG).
• Familiar with trade processes, including procurement workflows (PR/PO), BOM verification, order fulfillment, freight coordination, and ensuring compliance in product delivery.
• Proficient in ERP systems and office software. Good communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with international trade terms and logistics policies, particularly use-case for battery transport, is advantageous.

SUMMARY

This role under logistics and store department reporting to site director.

Responsible for ensuring effective and efficient supply chain management.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Responsible for creating and implementing best practices for logistics processes.

• Prepare shipping documents like packing list, delivery orders and forward to relevant parties

• Responsible for packing of goods for export shipments

• Perform all store duties including receiving, issuing, checking, load/unloading of goods

• Prepare and churn out Purchase Order (PO) from the in-house accounting system

• Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of products to local and oversea customers

• Work on shipment related modules in an ERP system

• Handle and reply to customer enquiries via phone and e-mails on product availability and delivery schedule

• Daily SAP Data Maintenance to support Direct Shipment to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Pakistan, and India

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE "O" levels

• Experience in import and export documentation and shipping practices

• Positive working attitude with good initiatives

• Good communication skills (phone and e-mails)
