Job Scope:
- Assist surgeons in facilitating the coordination of pre-operative and post-operative workflow of all surgery patients.
- Prepare and educate patients on what happens before, during and after surgery.
- Answer patient queries on the surgery.
- Coordinate pre-admission planning and provide counselling to patients and relatives for the type of surgery involved, and consumables and implants used.
- Collaborate closely with different departments (operating theatres, angiography centres, diagnostic imaging centre etc) and surgeons to ensure seamless patient coordination for clinic visits and procedures.
- Assist surgeons in ensuring prompt referrals are done.
- Assist surgeons to keep track of workload numbers.
- Data entry for proper tracking and collection of peri-operative data.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree, preferably in healthcare management / nursing or equivalent
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in using MS office
