JOB DESCRIPTION
- Oversees reservations, answers phone calls and responding to guests' queries
- Highlight to superior on high business volume day/meal period to manage manpower requirements
- Monitor the guest waiting list to manage customers' waiting time and expectations
- Greet and welcome guests warmly to the restaurant
- Guide customers to designated dining or bar areas
- Allocate seats in accordance to customers' preferences and reservations
- Establish and maintain good rapport and relations with customers to improve customers' experience and repeat visits
- Thank guests for patronizing the restaurant as they leave
- Follow customer service Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Comply with the Company's food and beverage hygiene standards
- Adhere to legislative requirements pertaining to handling and consumption of food and alcoholic beverage
- Perform opening, operating and closing of shifts
- Ensure that day-to-day operations are run at optimal levels with effective communication among teammates
- Suggest areas for continuous improvement within working areas
- All other tasks as assigned by Superior
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year experience in customer service/guest contact roles, preferably in restaurants is preferred
- Possess a well-groomed, clean and professional appearance
- Charming and outgoing personality, with a strong service attitude
- Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties well so as to boost corporate image
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
