We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive in Fire Safety to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing fire safety measures, emergency response planning, and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations. This role requires strong communication skills, team leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for fire incidents
- Maintain and inspect fire suppression systems to ensure functionality
- Manage fire safety programs and initiatives to enhance workplace safety
- Lead and train a team of fire safety personnel
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address fire safety concerns
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address fire safety issues promptly
- Demonstrate effective time management and multi tasking abilities
- Apply critical thinking to assess fire safety risks and develop preventive measures
- Able to assist the FOM in managing all Fire Safety related work and duties of FSM stipulated in the Fire Safety Act and contract.
- Conduct daily checks within the premises to report and remove any fire hazard that is found within the premises.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Authority on fire or other related matters when requested.
- Plan and coordinate the annual Fire Certificate renewal with respective user, PE etc before certificate expiry.
- Prepare and execute the Emergency Response Plan for the premises.
- Plan and conduct fire drills for the occupants of the premises at least twice in every calendar year or on such occasion as may be directed by the Commissioner.
Requirements:
- Possess recognized qualification as indicated and registered with SCDF. 3-5 years of relevant experience in fire safety management.
- Proficiency in emergency response planning and fire suppression systems.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ability in team leadership and management
- Excellent problem solving skills and critical thinking skills.
- Effective multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance standards.
