Job Description:
The Business Analyst consults with business subject matter experts and technology
resources to identify, prioritize, document, and manage business requirements for the Hotel or Casino
business.
Scope of Work:
- Analyse and document business processes, review and validate test plans/cases, support user acceptance testing, and track/manage requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle;
- Leading and facilitating requirements gathering workshops and discussions with IT and various business stakeholders (including marketing, front of house and back of house);
- Work closely with the Solution Architecture/technical team to ensure the solution covers all key use cases and that the system is extensible for future needs;
- Prepare and/or review clear and comprehensive business requirement documentation including objectives, scope, current and new business processes, added value and benefit expectations;
- Support budgeting, Procurement and Legal activities e.g. contracting, RFP; and Support QA and UAT processes through validation of test planning and execution.
Key Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in process mapping, business requirements, analysis and documentation, data mapping and test planning
- Experience working with collaboration tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, TeamsFamiliarity with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, policies and procedures
- Hands-on experience in process mapping, business requirements analysis and documentation, data mapping
- Knowledge of software development process methodologies like RUP and / or Agile, and use case modelling
- Ability to work independently and to effectively manage and execute multiple initiatives concurrently Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, both written and verbally
