Job Responsibilities:
- Engage users to carry out feasibility studies for hospital rejuvenation projects.
- Lead the design development of projects.
- Lead the procurement process of consultancy and construction packages for the project implementation
- Review and approve project schedules, method statements, material submission, and Permit to work during construction stage.
- Oversee and manage consultants and contractors in the delivery of their services following their contract terms.
- Develop project governance policies and processes.
- Develop technical standards for the cluster infrastructure projects.
- Lead and execute Special Projects or tasks as directed by the reporting officer.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural/Architectural Technology or Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, Quantity Surveying or Estate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare infrastructure or project management/design consultancy in the built environment sector, preferably in the public sector.
- Extensive experience in designing healthcare facilities that involve extensive workflow and stringent environmental requirements is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Building Regulations, Environmental Health Safety and Workplace Safety Health requirements about infrastructure facilities development.
- Team player with good project management, supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills.
- An independent team player who is proactive, adaptable and works well under pressure.
- Proficient in AutoCAD drafting. Knowledge of 3D Sketchup software is advantageous.
- Able to multi-task and perform in a dynamic working environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
