Our client who focuses on green energy storage system is looking for a Tendering & Engineering Senior Manager to join their dynamic team in Singapore
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the tendering team in identifying, evaluating, and responding to opportunities in the battery energy storage market.
- Develop strategies for tendering, pricing models, and bid proposals to maximize success rates and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to gather technical requirements, develop responses, and negotiate contracts with clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and ensure successful project completion.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to develop testing procedures for both Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Work with the Operations team to train and develop site commissioning activities, including the programming of Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Provide business development support by giving technical expertise, feasibility assessments, and engineering solutions to support the development of new projects and opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in engineering and tendering roles, with a proven track record in the battery storage industry or a related field.
- Strong technical background in battery energy storage systems, renewable energy, power systems, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in tendering management, including bid preparation, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
