My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic HR management, employee relations, and talent development within a global commodity trading environment. This role requires a deep understanding of HR best practices, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive HR initiatives that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership and business units to understand their goals and challenges, providing strategic HR guidance and support.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes to ensure the recruitment of high-calibre candidates who align with the company’s culture and values.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
- Ensure the effective communication and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure HR operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to the business.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged during times of change.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a HRBP role within a commodity trading firm
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore labour laws and regulations, with experience managing HR in a global context.
- Proven track record in strategic HR management, talent development, and employee relations.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret HR metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive organizational change.
