Looking for Operation and Performance Executive in Singapore.
About the role:
The job entails working closely with the Ops and Performance Manager to develop and monitor operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as port and berth productivity, crane intensity, and idle time. Responsibilities include monitoring vessel bunker consumption, coordinating with vessel command and local ops teams for efficient vessel-berth coordination, and contributing to bunker-saving efforts. The role also involves monitoring and improving performance trends, managing weather routing programs, and aligning with decarbonization initiatives. Additionally, duties include comparing and monitoring chartered vessel consumption, monitoring port performance, interacting with local agents, handling claims, overseeing container vessel cargo stowage and planning, and managing vessel operational costing. The position requires proactive management of operational matters and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies/Logistics & Supply Chain or equivalent
- 2nd Mate certification or sea-going officer experience preferred, sailing experience on container vessels advantageous
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and vessel stowage awareness beneficial for assessing vessel utilization opportunities
- Experience with Softship scheduling program (Voyces) and data analysis skills are advantageous.
- Ability to adapt, respond, and make decisions in dynamic operational environments
- Proficiency in articulating operational data into actionable insights for decision-making
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong team player
- Excellent command of oral and written English
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities; proactive, willing to learn, and committed to work
- Proficiency in computer skills
