As an AVP/VP, Strategy & Business Management, you will deliver business analytics & strategy planning function with core objective of establishing business strategies & action plans based on data-driven decision making to achieve set targets.
Job Description:
- Delivery of monthly management reporting for senior management forums
- Business updates & review of Wealth Business to Board, EXCO and various management committees
- MIS reporting and analysis of wealth segments performance, productivity, action plans
- Business planning and analysis across wealth segments in the region, including establishment of financial models, strategies, initiatives and action plans
- Proactive regular engagement with stakeholders across regional wealth segments and products heads & strategy teams to understand their business initiatives and evaluate & feedback on their impact on business financial performance
- Perform customer analytics to give data-driven insights to customer base in order to retain & identify upsell & cross-sell opportunities
- Establish regular analysis on competitors, macro environment and wealth business landscape in order to evaluate benchmarking, business opportunities & risk
- Analytics & strategy support on the respective Business Units
- Project support for bank wide innovation
- Planning, implementation and tracking of incentive programs
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Banking and Finance, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the Banking industry
- Advanced excel skills, including macros, VBA, pivot tables
- Strong ability to synthesize, visualise & work with large amounts of data including structuring of datamarts, data cleansing and feature engineering
- Highly numerical and able to build financial models to quantify business cases
- Ability to analyze data based on statistical concepts
- Effective communication skills & ability to forge strong relationships with business stakeholders
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work out ambiguities and comfortable working on tight timeline
- Ability to think out of the box to form and form cognitive insights across pieces of information, available both publicly and through internal market intel
