Job Description
- Installs, configures, and supports an organization’s computer systems, including operating systems, business applications, security tools, and user hardware (laptops, PCs).
- All aspects of user management, including new user setup/deactivation
- Manage credentials, permissions, access rights, storage allocations, and Microsoft Azure active directory administration
- Manage and support bespoke shipping software.
- Ensure functionality of the shipping-centric collaboration solution including Front, ICE, Microsoft Teams, Lifesize video conferencing system
- Investigate and resolve network issues and computer problems
- Documents network configurations and computer layout
- Identifies and deploys system and network upgrades
- Manages inventory of software licenses and company devices
- Works with supervisors or managers on routine assignments and special projects
- Liaise with building management to apply various applications such as Permit to Work and aircon extension, and participate in events like fire warden briefing and fire drill exercises
- Periodic out of hours work when and if necessary, such as building annual power shutdown exercises, schedules maintenance and activities
- To undertake any other relevant duties as may reasonably be requested by the management
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in IT or related field
- Preferred Microsoft Certified Professionals
- At least 2-3 years prior experience in system and network administration
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Windows servers, Active Directory and Office 365 is preferred
- Preferable knowledge in Signal Ocean, Trigonal/Trade Manager, Softfix, AXS Marine
- Knowledge in virtualising, networking, and cybersecurity protocols (Darktrace, Bitdefender)
