Looking for a Survey Admin cum Personal Assistant (Junior) to assist in administration operation.

- Handling of administration related to company operation
- Able to work in small team environment
- To retrieve information and particulars of ships, locations, names of owners/managers, underwriters and backgrounds from relevant portals / websites.
- Upload survey reports, photographs, documentary supports gathered by surveyors onto the portal editing each time where necessary and when each time comes around, to publish it as final with NHC claim handler approval.
- Supporting role in handling cases once we are notified/instructed of each new/old case
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma holder
- Minimum 1 year of relevant secretarial / Admin experience preferred
- Age no restriction so long candidate is able to adapt oneself into the work requirement and enviroment. Able to work late at odd hours owing to the urgency/nature of Ship's survey work and urgency. Working at times after office hours from home are not often but one must be prepared to do so and standing by on phone and/or on laptop
- Computer savy with good command of written and spoken English. Knowledge of other languges is a plus. eg. Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia / Malay would be great to have.
- Candidate must be resourceful in obtaining information with their laptop and phone.
- A working knowledge in Marine or in a Shipping enviroment would be preferred though not necessary
- Strong in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Well organized, good interpersonal skills, possess initiative and a team play
- Ability to work independently and efficiently on flexible timing
