Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses.
- Evaluate bids and proposals to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor project expenditures, track cost variations, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Review and negotiate contract terms, conditions, and variations with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Identify and assess potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project costs, schedules, or quality outcomes.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize financial exposure and maximize project success.
- Maintain accurate records of all cost-related transactions, including contracts, change orders, invoices, and payment certificates.
- Prepare regular cost reports, variance analyses, and financial forecasts for project management review.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Facilities / Property Management or equivalent
- At least 2 – 3 years of relevant QS experience in the civil construction industries
- Proficient in MS office, MS Project and AutoCAD
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
