Slow Green currently has two retail outlets in Singapore, located at Plaza Singapura and Joo Chiat, and we are actively expanding. Position
We are looking for a talented and passionate HR Executive to join our team in Singapore. Reporting directly to the founder of the company, the HR Executive will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, general administration, and initiatives projects. Responsibilities:
Essential HR function: more than half of the candidate's time will revolve around key HR functions including:
- Recruitment: lead the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling and conducting first rounds of interviews
- Performance Tracking and Review: assist in develop, maintain and execute employee performance tracking processes and performance review
- Strategy Development: Assist to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Training and Development: Assist in identifying training needs and developing training materials
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and compliance with in-house rules of engagement
Operation & Strategy: the candidate will also participate in other parts of the business depending on skills and intent, including
- Conduct strategic research in various aspects of the business of running and expanding a creative workshop – areas of research may include marketing, HR, production, shipping among others
- Conduct major projects, to research and execute major growth initiatives, for example international expansion, product portfolio expansion, among others
- Gain fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience in making the products
- Minor responsibilities in interacting with customers by serving occasional retail shifts when needs arise
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HR administration or related roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Other qualities in order to be successful in this role include – STRONG and AGILE business acumen, STRONG work ethics, fast learning ability, multi-tasking ability, handling pressure ability
- Experienced work in a set-up company will be an advantage.
- Flexiblity to work on short-term to medium-term overseas posting is appreciated
